Float

So glad I found this site! It’s a wonderful way to connect boat owners with renters! It’s just a win/ win, for an opportunity to rent a boat for the day! We have gone through membership boat clubs, which is another great option, but let’s Float.com is very comparable, with pricing as well. We were so happy with our find on a busy holiday week and enjoyed our day completely. Great way to find a bot for a special day on a beautiful lake!

Great experience! Super slick and easy for those of us who don't own boats! The boat owner was kind and relaxed, and calling customer service was simple and helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is that renting is quite pricey for just a few hours. Our boat owner even said he wished there was a way to rent for "half a day" or "full day" as the hourly deters customers. Overall, awesome company though!

I made a reservation with Float rental today, and had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Ross Larson. He was wonderful!!! Friendly, helpful, flexible, knowlegable, and so accomodating. I was so very glad I stumbled upon him for our lake day!!! I will be recommending him to anyone who asks me if I know of a boat rental place, and we will exclusively come back to him for our boat rental needs. I couldn't have been more taken care of or happier with this experience!!!

Absolutely FABULOUS! We had a friend visiting from out-of-town, and had arranged with a different company to do a 6 hour rental at their special advertised rate, which they refused to honor when we arrived. It totally destroyed our plans for a beautiful day on the lake. When contacting Float, Jake was super helpful and was able to quickly find us a private rental to use for the afternoon. Ross, the boat owner, was super nice. He communicated well, and his boat was clean and in good working order. He met us at the pre-arranged place and time, showed us how to operate the boat, and met us again to assist in docking. We had a wonderful afternoon on the lake, and are very grateful that Jake @ Float was able to assist us. Highly recommend them!

Super easy and a seem-less boating experience! We loved getting out on Lake Minnetonka to enjoy the afternoon floating around. It never really felt like a rental experience, it felt like it was our own boat - you could tell the owner took pride as it was clean and well-kept. We will definitely use Float again to get out on the water!

Great experience with Float. Was able to rent a boat a couple days before July 4th. It was quick, easy and such a convenient way to rent for the day. Ross and Jake are accommodating and so great to work with! Highly recommend, will be using Float again soon!

What a phenomenal experience!!! Ross was an amazing boat owner who let my wife and I take his beautiful boat out and cruise Lake Minnetonka. My wife and I have considered buying a boat but with a service like Float I don't foresee the need anymore. My wife and I ran the numbers and renting from Float a few times a summer is a far better value than undertaking the daunting task of boat ownership. Float is a top-notch organization with a level of value and service that is second to none! We WILL be renting again!

We had a wonderful experience with Float! We were in town for a wedding and wanted to experience Minnesota lake life. Both the owners of Float and the owner of the boat were very responsive and made it super easy to coordinate. We found it be to very affordable too. I would highly recommend to anyone!
