La Morenita on Broadway Restaurant

Street parking out front (metered) or parking in the back. Back Entrance available. Came on a Saturday morning. Not busy. Seated right away. Chips and salsa were great. The food was fast and delicious. Cafe de olla. Service was great. Positive experience. Pet friendly patio!

We had a lunch to commemorate my late Uncle who was a frequent patron of La Morenita. Everyone on the restaurant staff came by to give their condolences and took pictures of our family for us. Being from El Paso, Texas, this is definitely one of the best Mexican Restaurants I've been to. The hospitality is unmatched! This was my late Uncle's absolute favorite restaurant.

This place is awesome. The food is super good. They have good sodas. 10/10 i would recommend for the whole family

I’ve been eating at La Morenita since I was a little kid. The food is always great and the service is even better! They know how to make you feel at home. It’s a staple for Lincoln Heights.

Came again, this time on Sunday. They were busy but were able to attend to us in less than 10min. Maybe 5.
The red chilaquiles were delicious! Tried the cheese enchiladas too. The salsas are homemade!

I forgot to take pictures of the food because we just dug in but I did capture the chips and salsas, plus coffee that came in cute jars (with cookies too).😊

This place deserves all the stars! Ordered the birria and it was so flavorful and rich. The ambiance was great too! Their patio was well manicured with beautiful plants and this tranquil water fountain. Can’t wait to come back.
