Tabernacle Baptist Church

I attended Tabernacle in the late 70s and early eighties. I was baptized there and attended the ladies bible class while my children attended Sunday School. Pastor Balfour and his wife were always ready to listen and help if you needed to talk. I'm 85 years old now and have trouble walking so do not attend but still love to listen to the word of God on Sunday mornings. The music was always so uplifting and the special evangelists that would visit like Dr Homer Britton always made for an evening of interesting sermons. This was where I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. Amen

This has been my home church for the past 2 years.Since being here I have grown in my faith and my relationship with God, I see this church as my close family, and I have found ways to serve in my local community. No church is perfect, because no person is. But God is uniting us and growing us into people who are more and more like Jesus Christ.

I've been attending Tabernacle on and off over the years. Most recently I made an appointment to meet the pastor so I could determine if I wanted to seek a new church. I found Pastor Paul to be humble, very approachable, genuine, sincere, and with a passion for his responsibility
