The most insulting and sexist experience I've ever had in a "medical" setting.
I was told that sudden swelling and a rash in my lower limbs was 'just something that happens to women'. I also have "pupils dilated ++" written in my notes even though it's a side effect of my prescribed medication and I have no record whatsoever of displaying drug seeking behaviour.
The receptionists were so supportive and helpful, but the actual Dr was one of the worst human beings I've had the misfortune to meet. He was rude, dismissive, insulting and aggressive. After he dismissed my symptoms as drug seeking behaviour I went to A&E and I was having a reaction to my medication that was impacting my heart and if I'd not stopped taking one of my meds it could have been lethal. He later wrote in my medical notes that I went to the hospital for no reason.
He also held my main prescription hostage and heavily implied that if I complained I wouldn't get the meds that I need. (If I don't then I have to go to hospital).
I hope that this sociopath is held accountable for his actions and I pray that he is stripped of his ability to be a GP. No one deserves the treatment I received and there is absolutely no chance this was an isolated incident. L

I visited Dr Tandel at this surgery, He was rude, I'm ill now with chest infection but he was looking at my September Blood Report, assessed me accordingly, I recently came back from india

Among the ten worst surgeries in Leicester, Westcotesis in the top one. Try to call them at exactly 8am, they are constantly busy and when they eventually answer, it's only to inform you that all available bookings for the day are taken "please Try again tomorrow" and that's the setting for the rest of the week, regardless of the urgency of your call, they have no empathy whatsoever. Thumbs down!!
I've lost my voice, my throat looks like a bomb went off so I go to reception at 11:20 am and say emergency I need to see a doctor, already booked today please call tomorrow or next appointment is August 21st. How can you hire idiots like this to deal with patients 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Don't worry about booking an appointment because if the doctor rings you and he can't hear you, he will just hang up and consider you having an appointment already. Patients are penalised for the doctor's failure to do their job and your only option is to ring 111 or ring back the next day for another appointment which might not be delivered for the same reason, and all the receptionist is going to say to you is you have to ring back the following day because all the doctors have been fully booked for the day.

The lady at the reception exhibits extremely "rude" and "discriminatory" behavior. Today I applied and was scolded for my child's ongoing "severe" diarrhea, vomiting and fever. She didn't listen to me and didn't make an appointment.She got angry because I got help from google translate. And he didn't do it for the first time, I'm going to complain.
