We hiked the Pyramid to Scorpion Trail loop. The hike was easy to moderate and then some places were a bit hard. During the hike I didn't see any wildlife, someone told me that they generally don't come out due to the heat in the afternoons. However the view of the cathedral red rock from this trail was amazing!!! There are no restrooms at or near the trailhead, also carry enough water with you.
Love hiking this area such a peaceful area to take a walk it is a hard trail but the beautiful place makes you walk More and more..take lots of water..

This was my favorite hike we did in Sedona. Absolutely breathtaking.
Fun short trail. Make sure you have an app with the route as there is one spot where you can get off the loop trail. One steep section but it's not very long. I suggest going clockwise as you go up the steep section and once you get up it it's a pretty runnable trail.
Five stars because we're in Sedona. 3 stars from a local that got seriously lost because the trail kinda gets lost if you start out going to the left. Maybe deserves more though if you check out the pix, you'll see why. With all the rain lately, I got to walk through a lush green octitillo forest, see the real mount Rushmore and more very hoodoo looking rock formations...
Favorite! Great hike for all ages. Incredible views and photo opportunities. Free access and parking. We were very pleased to have stumbled upon this spot.
