A nice, short hike through the woods. Lots of little hills. Very well marked and well maintained. Only has about four parking spots, but overall exceeded our expectations.

Great little trail! Well-marked, easy to follow, and shaded most of the way (I went July 2022). I took my two dogs and this was the perfect length of a hike (about 40-50 minutes I think?). Generally a pretty easy trail, with a few small hilly parts. Only drawbacks are that the parking lot is small (I think only 4 or 5 cars would fit) and on certain parts of the trail you can hear the car traffic. That didn't really bother us though. Definitely going back!

Easy hiking on a heavily wooded trail. Very close to heavily populated area, so ideal for beginners or people with young children. Trail is clearly marked.

A little muddy but all together well maintained. Saw some horse riders along the trail, dogs and other pets welcomed too.. Elm, oak, and coniferous forest dotted with a few birch and plenty of maples.

In spite of its size and feeling like you might be at risk of wandering into someone's back yard from the entrance, once you are a a few steps into the preserve, it feels more "natural" than many nature preserves in far less congested areas. Nice opportunities to see some interesting, unique species like maidenhair ferns and blue cardinal flowers, without having to wander off-trail and risk disturbing anything - a gem for native plant enthusiasts.

Wonderful, family-friendly, 1.1-mile hike in a beautiful wooded setting. A beaver dam, streams, bridges and a little elevation make for an engaging walk. The trails are well maintained and there is ample parking. Many thanks to the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy for providing access to this and several other preserves in the area.

Easy trail with side trails, one to a beaver dam with a pond. Fairy houses can be found here.
