We got the menu with 4 tapas, one paella of our choice and a dessert. everything was perfect except the paella that had a little bit more salt for our taste. Apart from that the tapas were excellent and the desserts were exceptional. Tha waiters very polite and helpful.

Delicious grilled octopus, unique and flavorful artichoke. Sat right away and attentive service (note Google takes you to the back near their Gin club bar). Only negative was the Tinto de Verano was too sweet and tasted premixed.

I recently tried a special burger at this restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The patty was juicy and delicious, and the accompanying fries were nice and crispy. I also had their refreshing and flavorful sangria on tap, which was a perfect complement to the meal. The location is conveniently close to all the attractions in Madrid. I can't wait to come back and explore more items from their menu. Highly recommended!

This place is situated right on Gran Via so a prior reservation is a must. Each reservation has a duration of 1:40 hrs. While we understand there is a time limit, one of the waiters was very pushy and annoying. He wanted to know what dessert we want while handing us the dessert menu! And I'm not exaggerating a bit when I say he asked us at least 3 times the same question within 2 mins. And we already had more than 30 mins left to our reservation. While the food was not bad, I would definitely not go back with such level of bad service.

We always come here when visiting Madrid, often more than once. In fact it is our standby choice of tapas bars. But worth noting that we have only ever eaten at the counter not in the restaurant.
The selection of big and small plates is extensive, and I don't understand the comments regarding price. In our experience their prices are similar to most tapas bars in the centre of Madrid. The quality is always good. We found the seafood choices such as octopus and squid to be perfect. Meat is well cooked. The plate of jamon served at the correct temperature.
If there is a quibble it is that like many bars they no longer serve sherry. A cold glass of fino would always start off the evening on the right note.
On the other hand we have no quibbles about the service. It is always swift and done with a smile even when the place is crowded.
We've always found a mix of customers, though it is true that it attracts tourists. Neither does it have an olde world traditional Madrid vibe. Go elsewhere for that. But if you want dependable food and service, an English menu, and value for money, this should be on your list.

We had an amazing time in this restaurant. John at the main tapas bar did an incredible job, his recommendations were great and in our short stay in Madrid went three times because the food is outstanding. Highly recommend the octopus and pork cheeks!!!
