Thanksgiving Point Trailhead Park

Only place along the Jordan River Trail that has the Bathrooms open in winter and our heated in case you need to get out of the weather for a minute. I run here in the winter time

This was such a fun ride.
We started Judy West of the old prison in Draper following the Jordan river just south of Thanksgiving point and it's very beautiful.

What an amazing place with scenery, fresh air, clean grounds, and a sparkling lake to boot. While it was my first time with my doggy, I kept her leash tight because of all the moving activity—HAPPY PEOPLE. They were on bikes, jogging, had jogging strollers, and dogs. There were no dog stations that I noticed, and as stated, because we’d never been there, we came prepared. My dog LOVED the horses, goats, and sheep along the way, being a border collie-aussie, and they oddly seemed drawn to her. They all approached the fence friendly-like.

Are we going back, you ask? Heck ya!

Very well kept walking/biking path along a river. A golf course straddles the path and river on both sides with two bridges. The golf balls flying over your head are a little unnerving.

Love this trailhead, the kids love the playground but not having access to the bathrooms keeps a lot of families away in the winter!

The trail is really nice, wide, and paved. It’s pretty and follows the Jordan River. Unfortunately it’s loud from road noise and there aren’t many trees or shade. But it’s a great place to exercise/bike/walk or take your kids as there are a few playgrounds along the path.

A chill spot to hang and relax a little, maybe walk/ride the trails, enjoy the wispy plants and beautiful water scenery◡̈ cute little playground, not a super large parking lot
