Kresson Golf Courses

Played 8/26 - Played early in the morning and the course was fairly wet from morning dew. Course was in pretty bad shape, tee boxes were all torn up, fairways were full of weeds, dry areas, dirt patches. Greens were in good shape. Course is very short, consist of par 3s and short par 4s and one par 5. Good to practice short game. Rates are good, Walking is $30, cart fee is $30. Very walkable course and they have push carts available for $3.

This golf course is the worst golf course I’ve ever played. At the age of 17 when you can drive a car, you are not allowed to drive a golf cart at kresson. The greens are the worst, they look like a middle aged man who is balding. The tee boxes aren’t filled in so many divets.

This is a great place to practice your short game. The longest hole is a par 4. The price is about the same as a regulation course and the fairways a little rough but this is a perfect course for my lower back limited swing issues.

Awesome 18 holes , greens are in good shape , I thought overall it’s a great place to use a driver and chip shot to the green except a few holes that get to 450 / 500 yds. Not that talented yet but at 65 hitting it avg 225 driver. …… I like it

The course is not the greatest course but the staff is awesome and the price is great. It's pretty easy to get in to play a round and the course is very walkable.
It's on the short side so great for beginners - but has a couple of long par 5s so something for better golfers too. There's some pretty scenery to enjoy along the way. One thing of note is that the porta potties on the course are usually the cleanest I've ever seen! After a lot of rain parts of the course can be very wet.

This course was in terrible condition, certain holes shouldn't even be open. My expectations were not high as this was a last minute tee time reservation. That being said, the course was far below what the average golfer would consider reasonable. The fact they charge $40 for 9 holes is obscene. This course is in need of an overhaul. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

It is a hidden jewel, trees, elevation, lots of water, very pretty and interesting. It could use some TLC in certain areas such as making sure on the back nine they have the yellow boxes for the ladies tee marked. We play there a lot as it is a short course so for beginners, ladies, seniors and just golfers who want to practice it’s great. Now if you can drive the ball 250 yards you might want to put away your driver and practice your short game. Most of all it’s an interesting looking course, not flat & boring.

This course needs some help. A serious investor needs to come in and fix this up. There's some real potential and some really nice holes on this course, but mostly the tee boxes are all beat up, fairways are absolute garbage, and the greens are barely usable. I gave this course 3 stars because I can walk it (exercise) and a crappy day on a crappy course still counts as a day of golf! That is never a bad thing.
