Very helpful lady gave me lots of information for ideas on where to visit
Very friendly and helpful. We came for the map and got a lot of additional informations and materials to discovery Bulgaria and Sofia.
Couldn't give any information about hiking in the area. The response to all my questions was that I should check Google. Seems to be just focused on touristic sightseeing within the city itself.
The tourist information is right in the top center of Sofia and you can ask for everything you need for the city!

It's downstairs, you have to go to the ruins/metro and find it there.
Brilliant service! We were in Sofia for 3 days and asked for a suggestion on what to do outside of Sofia and the staff member told us about Mount Vitosha. We took her advice and had a fantastic day taking the chair-lift through the forest to the top of the mountain and walking out to the view point.
