Safran Restaurant Stuttgart

The Safran Restaurant offers really delicious Persian and Oriental dishes. All the dishes we had can be recommended, but we already forgot their names immediately after ordering.

The service was okay, there were two family gatherings, so the other tables had to wait a bit to be served, both for ordering and paying.

The price was a bit higher than average dishes, but the food is definitely worth the money.

Overall a great restaurant. It's probably not a good choice if you are looking for a fast meal.

The food was tasty and atmosphere was really calming. They do not accept card, Only cash so I needed to go out to withdraw money. The recipe I ate was Chicken,rice and tomato. The chicken was tendered and juicy. Besides marination was perfect.

IS IT A TAX REASON THAT DON’t provide POS?
I give 5 stars for food, but the aint is that they don’t provide card or phone payment!! This is 21st century, May be they want to run from taxes they force us to find ATM! This is irrespectful for customer!!!!
I am coming from where the money is not used anymore! This is not a small restaurant to have excuses!

Best Persian food I have had from a restaurant. They have brilliant vegetarian choices. I had the Vegetarian Zereshk Polo, and it was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The service and the staff’s behaviour is a nightmare, they gave us limited time and served the food in the very last 30 minutes. The first dish was taken in the moment the person finished their food and that was a rally afterwards to take the plates at the moment we were done, so they stared at our plates the whole time, that i do ‘t even remember the taste of the food. We ordered enough drinks, but the lady told me to put my water bottle that i brought to the restaurant and put on the table and did not touch in my bag in a disrespectful manner. With the starters we ordered some onions and they were brought when the starter was finished with no apologies explaining that the onions should have been held from the basement and they didn’t have enough time to cut it.
I am an Iranian and to be fair enough the kebabs were not so bad, but the rice greasy and not in a proper amount.

Really tasty + a nice atmosphere. The place gets quite full, so reserve in advance. Try the desert : baklava with tea, a perfect finish of your meal :)

And bring enough cash, no payment via card possible (until now at least).
