A Licorista e O Bacalhoeiro

A beautiful place that came highly recommended, but the service was quite unwelcoming and the bacalhao that I was craving was dry, tasteless and like chewing leather. At least the octopus salad starter was good.

Had very good dinner. Seafood was good. Friendly staff provided good serivce. Great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and good food, service was terrible. We had an awful, mean, older male waiter who was very rushed and rough when talking with us. He tried along with other waiters to trick us into spending more by bringing freshly made food we didn’t order to our table. French fries were not great, salads were good, and omelette was okay. I’m never coming back here with so many other options around. Service was the worst I’ve ever encountered.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a local guide and I wasn't disappointed. Despite the fact it is located in a touristic spot where the overall quality and experience can be questionable, I had an excellent dinner here. There is a fresh fish menu (handwritten) which suggests the menu changes daily. The staff was extremely polite and recommended different fish dishes with detailed descriptions in front of the fish fridge.

Authentic Portuguese food. Not a tourist trap at all!!!! One of the best cod fish I ever had !!! You see lots of Portugueses in the house. Amazing! Delicious!

Authentic Portugese restaurant with very good food. We were so glad to find this restaurant as we happened to stay in a hotel 2' away. Every dish was decent esp. the fish, clams and shellfish arroz (halfway between porridge and paella, that's how I describe it lol). The only criticism we got is the space between the tables, way too tight. At one point, I literally couldn't eat because the servant was standing so close while taking an order from the table on the left. But highly recommend if you're in Lisbon!

We wanted to eat good meat and we found this restaurant in Google Maps. When we first passed along the restaurant we wanted to see if it was opened, a person who was there, a waiter or the owner I’m assuming, just stood there, looked at us and moved his finger in a “no” manner. Then he broke a plate so that’s on karma. There was a waiter sitting on one of the tables outside who told us they were opening in ten more minutes and we asked if we could sit there, to which he said of course, no problem. Other than the first man, the other waiters were kind. We both ordered picanha that came with rice, black beans and French fries. Everything was delicious. The picanha was 16 euros and a coke was 2 euro. We gave him a tip and ended up paying 20 euros each, which I think is a great price for a great meat.
