Recommended by a local friend. Beautiful deco with lots of historical tile arts. Very big space with different sections. Food was good but not great. Chips was soggy. Chocolate mousse tasted good!

It is a very small and narrow place but cute and cozy Ambiente with good music. The service was not bothered at all. For entrance we had fried prawn, which was good! But the main courses (sea brass and tiger prawn) was quite disappointing. Sea brass and vegetable didn’t taste like anything (some spices or sauce was missing) and the tiger prawn was way too done. All in all it was also pricey.

We came here with 4 adults and 5 kids … amazing food! Truly delicious. Our server Lima made us feel right at home and helped us understand the art and architecture.

We reserved a seat for two for 1900 dinner. The venue is a little small, but that's what makes it great. Nice ambiance and decoration

We ordered the Sea Rice and Mixed fish and the meal was 10/10 -- we would absolutely return if we ever found ourselves back in Lisbon

The Sea Rice was one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had!

I did not have reservations, but since I only had a party of two, I think it was easier to seat us as walk-in. We arrived at 8 ish and the guy told us to come back at 9 pm. We were back earlier and he seated us as soon as there was an open table. Despite it being by the door, we had a great experience.

Since we waited outside for a while, we already checked out the menu and ordered right away.

Camarão Tigre 22€ - grilled tiger prawn with mango rice. The prawn was indeed large, which they cut in half. It was like eating a lobster, very meaty. The rice was too sweet for my eating partner’s preference. Price 20€ on the menu was crossed out and 22€ was written instead.

Polvo Assado no forno 16€ - oven roasted octopus. This is a dish I would order again. The octopus was so good. The caramelized onions and sweet potato made it sweet. Too much olive oil imo tho.

Costelata de borrego 16€ - lamb chop with tomato polenta. Lamb was not bad, but I had really good lamb in San Diego too recently. It didn’t compare. The tomato polenta was also a bit odd for me.

Beer €5

I would come back to try the sea rice, which looks amazing in photos, and the “petiscos”. They did charge 2€ for taking away the leftovers.
You have to pay 6 euros service cost at the end that they didn't mention
A working man’s place, with inexpensive and great size lunch options, delicious pastel de nata and the loveliest staff. Easy to fall in a tourist trap in this area, but with this place you go absolutely sure to have a quality and good value meal!

We enjoyed a perfect early morning coffee here before braving the long journey home. Staff were lovely, and the ambience was great, so we stayed a bit longer and sinned with some delicious pastries!
We will definitely be back soon!

Varied dishes, some good but none were exceptional. Enjoyed the ceviche despite slightly chewy fish, sea bream was tasty. Octopus was overcooked and dry, clams on the smaller side. Prices reasonable for the experience. Music was a bit loud though.

Old convent turned restaurant. Stopped for lunch which was delightful. We really didn’t sample a lot, just had the sausage and cheese charcuterie boards which were quite tasty. The setting is lovely and staff very nice.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Duque. The fish and vegetables were extremely flavorful and the quality was superb. I highly suggest the fried prawns! The sauce was incredible and unlike anything I’ve tried before! The risotto was pretty rich, but the flavors balanced nicely and nothing overpowered the other. There was friendly service and the food arrived quickly! I would definitely recommend dining here!

I was pretty angry when I waited 50 mins for my fish soup and 30 mins for fresh squeezed orange juice at first but after I tried the fish soup, it's like-- there's nothing more delicious fish soup than this soup. & words can't describe our feelings for it. It's fresh & so tasty.
But I wonder do I want to wait again for this soup for 1 hour🤔.
The service is actually not so attentive, but because the fish soup is too good, so I still tip the server 10% and finally I see a beautiful smile from the server.

The food we ordered is really good except the clams we didn’t like it much, but everything else was really good, we had garlic shrimps, clams, grilled baccalà or bacalao and grilled octopus we enjoyed everything. The price is just right except for the clams that cost €14 and small serving and not the good so I suggest to skip it. The octopus is tender and very nice touch of olive oil and the bacalao is perfect salty and tender, our fave is the garlic shrimps it’s the best.

We only came for a light and late lunch, but we absolutely loved all our dishes. We had crab and tiger shrimp, the latter was absolutely fantastic. Service was lovely, location is great, prices are on the higher side but to be expected and worth it in our opinion. Moscow mule was delicious!

Very best in Portugal so far, there is a wait line during evening dinner time. Friendly staffs. The foods are great, and the pairing wine is also good. The tiger prawn is excellent. Fish plate is also good. No wonder it attracts a long wait line. Be patient if you don't have a reservation, it is worth the wait for the mainly seafood dishes.

We like this place. Good location and so was the wine. Shellfish rice (Arroz de Marisco) was good but not as great as another restaurant within 5 minutes walk where they also put in pieces of lobster (making the broth a bit sweeter and flavorful for sure). The mussels tapa could have more mussels and less onions. Seafood soup (Cataplana de Marisco) was great.
The croissant brioche is delicious. It's an old school place.

Tuna salad, grilled octopus, and the duck - all were great!
The restaurant has less than 10 tables so I recommend to make a reservation. We were able to reserve a few hours before the dinner on Sunday night. Only indoor seating.
Free wifi and fast service is always a plus! 🙌

The food was absolutely great - we had the classic tasting menu with wine pairing. My own favorite was the white fish that was cooked to perfection and had a super nice texture. Nevertheless, there are some things that should be improved and addressed. The wine pairing was a disappointment. The glasses were embarrassingly small and there were no questions asked if we liked the wine or not. When we finally got some red wine and asked for something that had more body (the one from the menu didn’t really have any identity and after so much cold white wine we had hoped for more ‘shift’ in taste) we got another red wine but was also charged 44 EUR extra. I know there are other equally highly rated restaurants (check your neighbor Alma for example) where the waiters would pay a little bit more attention to your liking of the wine and also refill your glass if it’s empty - especially when you decide to pour 8cl only. Another thing I found disappointing was the offering of one tiny piece of bread without asking if I wanted more through the long dinner. Finally, and this is important, I’m sure you don’t present the Michelin inspectors a fixed tip when they have to pay - there was a suggestion for 10% tips added to our bill without us asking. That makes you seem like a tourist attraction.

The server was so rude. She rolled her eyes when we helped ourselves to the olive oil in the next empty table. Food was mediocre at best. Sometimes you are willing to bypass the service when the food is good. This wasn’t the place for either.

What a beautiful experience this was!!
Staff is extremely friendly and professional.
The venue is stunning.
I had the evolution menu and wine pairing.
The food was incredible thoughtful and extremely well prepared.
Could not pay by card, prices on menu where almost half of what it actually cost, which you of course didn't find out until the bill came. Worst place I've eaten in years

The service here was beyond our expectations. Our server, Juao, was so kind and informative. The dishes were extremely innovative and the presentation was phenomenal. Every dish was delicious. We weren’t huge fans of the squab but that was more a personal choice. The 17-course tasting menu took about 2.5 hours and you could tell a lot of thought went into planning each dish. Highly recommend this spot. There’s a reason it’s one of the world’s top 50 restaurants!

Flat-out one of the top 10 restaurants that I have ever been to. The food was amazing and unique, but what blew me away was the service. They took all of our dietary restrictions into account and ensured that we could have an amazing experience. The ambiance is just cool. Food highlight: the unique seabass (and I usually do not like seabass). I have recommended this place to many people. Thank you for taking care of me for my 40th birthday! Cheers!

Easily the most unique culinary experience I have ever had in a beautiful restaurant with an attentive, responsive waitstaff.

The relatively understated exterior belies the subtle elegance found inside. I loved the arched ceilings and construction. Our server, Airton, shared that the restaurant was formerly the lower level of a church. The service was outstanding, consistent attention throughout without it ever feeling disruptive to the dining experience. The team worked in harmony, clearing the table, resetting the cutlery, and delivering each course.

We selected the menu Evolução for the evening and opted for non-alcoholic cocktails as our beverages. The food was a sensory exploration unlike anything I have experienced before. A meal like this invites you to be fully present, immersed in the experience. Not knowing what is coming next creates a sense of anticipation and allows each dish to feel like a reward for waiting. I will avoid any pictures or descriptions of the dishes to preserve that sort of experience for others. There was such a sense of artistry and specificity with each dish, how it was presented, the unique combinations of textures, flavors, ingredients, temperatures, it was delightful. Even the bread service arrived with a trio of butters that were unique presented and were profound in the diverse flavors conveyed.

Along the way, the elevated dining experience also included playfulness and humor, which helped it to remain an accessible, relaxed experience. Admittedly, the dinner was expensive, but it was one of the highlights of our trip.
Hamburgers and cocktails are always good. This Honoraro has a very nice terrace outside to eat alfresco, which is really worth it

This place is a 5 star place but I gave it a 4 stars. Too bad I cannot give it 4.6-4.7. Read on.

Atmosphere and decor: excellent, has a very nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Service: almost impeccable, we had a reservation but weren’t asked for it as there were plenty of tables.
Order was taken fast and served fast too. They helped with some recommendation and also helped to not order some dish that we wouldn’t have liked.
My ONLY comment on the service is that we weren’t very hungry and weren’t sure if we wanted a starter. The person taking our order asked twice “so no starter??”, it felt slightly pushy that at that moment I felt bad for not buying a starter. We got the mussels and there were excellent.

For main we got the Cataplana (it’s for sharing therefore not cheap), it’s my first time trying this in Portugal and it’s basically like a Bouillabaisse. Except this one was very salty, just like most of the Portuguese cuisine.

What a beautiful restaurant in the middle of nowhere and the long walk up a steep hill is well worth it. It’s fine dinning with prompt service, an extensive wine list and a sophisticated decor. The food were above average, but with room for improvement and all priced reasonably. Would recommend it if you are looking for a finer restaurant in the Lisboa.
Great place to stop for a break. Whether it's for breakfast or a break from walking, definitely stop in. Great selection of tasty sandwiches and pastries. The beer was perfect on a hot day. Extremely attentive staff.

Very rude person standing at the bar serving me. He only kept asking how much I want and didn't really listen to my order. I clearly said that I wanted two of a certain item.
I even had to said to him to wait and listen to me because he kept asking. At that moment my whole appetite had gone away and I told my wife and 2 children to left the place. I just want to be treated normally and politely.

So give 1 star for the very bad service and attitude. I honestly say I don't know how the food taste like.

The best meal I have ever had. We got the €195 tasting menu. Worth it.

But it was more than just the meal. The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very funny, super professional.

This is a must visit.
Pan cakes, glaces et latte macchiato. Petite pause agréable. Serveur sympa.
The food itself was good but they add extra service charges that it's not mentioned in advance. Cunning.

Had an excellent meal here tonight! Food was brilliant, service was quick and staff very friendly and helpful. Staff were also very honest by stating that the bread and ham you’re given before your meal must be paid for if you eat it! Can’t fault it here it was absolutely lovely.

I enjoyed learning about classic Portugese dishes in a beautiful presentation. The most memorable dishes were all of the appetizers, the crispy chicken skin & fish surprise dish, and the dessert with almond crust that made the best texture combined with the soft filling in the bottom and tarty sorbet to balance out the sweet flavors. I don’t think I could have ever enjoyed getting the traditional suckling pig dish on my own at a typical Portugese restaurant that comes with fries and other sides, but in here this dish was elevated so cleverly so we can still enjoy all flavors without feeling stuffed. So smart, chef Jose Avillez 👌🏽

Between a group of 3, sharing a bottle of champagne worked out perfectly..because it’s a lot of courses so doing wine tasting might have been too much.

Overall it took us 3.5 hours, so I recommend doing this on a day when you are not in rush.

FYI for team Belcanto:
There was a dish that was a bit too fishy which was strange because we didn’t expect that at a place like this.
The Fish entree had no special memory type of flavors.
The ambiance and decor unfortunately didn’t feel anything special to remember.
I recommend the servers to speak a bit loudly when explaining the next dish. It felt like we could barely hear full sentence.
Even though gratuity is optional in Portugal, the restaurant machine had only two options explained to us for payment - with or without suggested gratuity. I recommend explaining the third option where the guests can add any % they prefer.

Review of Tasting Menu ————————-

Presentation was good. Vibe was good. Wine was good. Food was mediocre. Service was okay. I’ve had better food & service in other Michelin restaurants so I have to say that it was a disappointing experience. If you are into the presentation of dishes & vibe, this place will be good. Food was too salty in general as well!
As you can already saw in my profile, I’d like this company, is another one from the other , if I have to compare them I will say then this one is not the best one but more about environments than foods . it’s a nice place around Lisbon and opportunity to get there and eat well. The burgers are on point , cocktails . As u know .

Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice bar were to have breakfast in Lisbon. It's among the first to open so sometimes will be one of the few open.

Breakfast 🍳 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They have many choices and all of them look very good 😋 The por lem is that is quite expensive as a bar..

Service 👥 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The waitress was super friendly and fast in serving me. She also speaks English which might be a plus for foreigners.

Atmosphere 🛋️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bar is nicely decorated and has many seats, it almost looks like a restaurant and less a bar 😂. Is always very clean 🙌
Very tasty vegetarian burger and french fries! On the menu you only have one veggie option but you can ask to replace the meat burger for veggie burger on any other options! It was delicious! And the chocolate pudding just devine and as it's a good portion you can share it! A but loud because of sports and lots of youngsters, but it gives the place it own charm 😉

Belle boulangerie, grand espace.

Really nice restaurant. It’s in a nice location with a great view/atmosphere. I tried the Honorato Cocktail & Honorato Burger which were both really good. On top was the nice service!
Almost 12 euros for a 5 euro worth burger!
Fries are good, servers are friendly. Cocktails are overpriced. We asked for Berry Nice cocktail but vodka instead of rum and they wanted to charge us the "vodka bonus".
If you want a ball of bread with a little bit of raw meat for more than 10 euros go ahead.
AVOID - AVOID - AVOID

Literally the worst restaurant we've ever been to Every tourist trap trick in the book.

We ate here because we said 'Let's just choose one without Google Reviews"

Big mistake on our mouth, stomachs and wallets.

AVOID

This is a wonderful restaurant for authentic and delicious Portuguese food. The service is spectacular, you are treated like family and there is a generous and welcoming vibe for everyone. We always have an excellent meal here, the kitchen is outstanding, but it is the great staff that makes us come back every time we are in Lisbon.
So take the Green Line to Telheiras (the restaurant is 3 walking minutes from the station) and enjoy a memorable meal at O Jacinto.
Service was excellent, very honest and upfront about European etiquette. Do your research upfront before you travel so you are not shocked about paying for bread! Sangrias were delicious and so was the food!

The food is great and the Restaurant seating very good for a business event or a very personal one. A good list of wines and liquors. Delicious desserts
Even when the main door nice host said that this place was a traditional Português restaurant it was the worst dinner I had during two years living in Lisbon.
-Long time to wait for the dishes.
- Dished came cold we had to return to the kitchen.
-One of the dishes "bacalau bras was just cold fried potatoes. There was not bacalau on it.
- The place was crowed at the nevel we have to ask another client to move to could leave our table
-The worst part was when they bring a non specific detail bill and I request it how it should and they was charging 6€ more. A shame! Even when we paid the same amount of eat in ones of the more Português famoses chef!

When I go to nice place I used to post and even when this feed backs sound as imposible to happens it is absolutly true and I post to avoid other clients happens the same situation that I pass.

The place is good located.

Never go here, disgusting food, annoying staff, extraordinarily expensive. They changed their name to Heaven's door, probably because they're scamming people. 5€ serving fee, no invoice. Go to McDonald's if you want a better experience. I hope some government agency actually shuts this place down, this can't be legal. Please people of Lisboa, report this place because it's actually hurting Lisboas tourism.

Grouper and rabbit were both delicious, and the orange and chocolate sorbet. The dishes and bread on your table when you arrive aren't free though!

We were living in an apartment right next door so decided to have lunch there. they started off being very friendly. we ordered some stuff like paella which was 22 euro for a seafood paella for 2 people. then we asked him to recommend a vegetarian dish as the menu didn't have much. he sold us a rice with peas, carrots and onions for two people. our mistake was not to confirm the price as it was off the menu and a simple dish. they charged us 60 euros for this. It was the most shocking experience for us. and when we confronted them that they tricked us they denied it and said that was the price. We felt quite sure it was a deliberate trap. when I came to review them I read so many similar reviews from others that I realised we were right to feel tricked. I am amazed they are still in business.
This place definitely deserves a higher rating. One of the only ones in this strip that didn't harass us to come eat there, and the servers were both so funny. They made hilarious jokes despite not speaking great English. More importantly, the food was absolutely beyond incredible. I had fish rice with shrimp, my dad had the shellfish rice, and my mom had a sea bream fish grilled. My parents got the €11 deal, which came with their main, wine or beer, coffee, and dessert, and a salad. Our entire meal cost €33 and it was absolutely the best seafood I've had in my life, and I eat a lot of fish and seafood.

This is a real tourist trap. Do not go there. We had disgusting fish there and overpriced paella. Not even mentioning how expensive the bread cheese and ham is which they bring to your table for start (around 20 EUR)
With the number of 1-star reviews on here, it's a miracle that this place still exists. They brought out 2 disgusting salad dishes that we didn't order, and later charged €9 each. The vegetables look like they've been left in the heat for several days. We ordered a grilled fish dish and they brought a dish with 4 fish. However they later said the price shown in the menu is PER FISH. So a fish dish costed €56! It's the worst tourist trap in the city!! Avoid at all cost.

The best restaurant in Lisbon when it comes to price quality relation. You get excellent food, always to cry for, for a reasonable price (a little pricey but nothing expensive for the high quality food). Definitely my favourite restaurant

Don’t go!!!!! We were led by the staff into the restaurant. The worst experience ever. The food was disgusting. When we raised the issue they didn’t give a damn care. The soup we ordered was probably made with instant soup satchel. The staff tricked us and didn’t even allow us to pay by card.
This place is the best value meal you can get in this area. 11 euros for drinks, soup, bread, a main course, dessert, and expresso, which is available any time. The seafood rice was amazing--there were so many fresh clams and mussels as well as shrimp. The beef skewers were also delicious. The owner was also very kind. I will certainly be back for more.

This place accepts credit card as well.
We stopped here when looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant in the main touristic streets of Lisobon. We were greeted by a friendly owner and great service. There was a set price of 11 Euros for a three course meal and both a drink and coffee included. Everyone was extremely pleased with the quality of the food as well as the portion sizes. We had definitely found what we were looking for, I highly recommend this restaurant!
Had the 11 euro meal. I had the grilled chicken and the wife had the shishcabob both were tasty a little on the dry side but we'll worth the price. Highly recommend it
Fantadtic place. The location is very pleasant, as it is in a purely residential area, with portuguese traditional Lisbon family houses, all with small gardens, and the street itself is very tranquil, pleasant, and quiet. Food served here as very carefully prepared and exquisite. All personnel is very kind and attentive. This is one place in Lisbon not to miss. Only for lovers. Only for knowers.
Really great, tucked in adega. Highly recommended is the €11 meal! It fills you up good!! You have about 6 options to choose from and you get soup or salad, dessert and coffee! Well worth the price!
