I couldn't get in. Initially they didn't accept the payment via card, later since I didn't have cash they told me that it was okay to pay by card, too bad the device didn't work. So arm yourself with cash if you want to get in

I visited the reptile museum recently, and it was a fascinating experience. The museum offered a diverse collection of reptiles from around the world, including snakes, lizards, and turtles. The exhibits were well-maintained and provided detailed information about each species. What impressed me the most was the opportunity to see some rare and exotic reptiles up close, making it an educational and exciting visit for both kids and adults. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. However, I wished there were more interactive exhibits and perhaps a live demonstration. Overall, it's a great place for reptile enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning about these remarkable creatures.

Very interesting building!
Beautiful architecture and a lot of history tied to the building!
Well worth the visit, entrance tickets also include entrance to the dragon cave and reptile zoo!
Recommended for people who like Norse mythology, reptiles, architecture,..

Cool, historic place, ideal for those who come more interested in the whole history of the place than just with “seeing the castle” . Nicee

My daughters really enjoyed the reptiles mini zoo and the dragon statue. The paintings were less appreciated but they had their role because my daughters wanted to know more about the Nibelungen legend after the visit.

A very nice place for kids to see some few reptiles. Nice stop on your hiking trip to the top. Free for kids under 4 years old. One star off for payment only in cash

Museographic work must be teaken care of, for this space still lacks a better presentation for the incredible paintings kept inside of it. Majestically, Richard Wagner music's constantly plays in the inside, treating the visitors with a more immersive experience.
After the main hall, you enter a small garden adorned with an impressive stone statue of Fafnir, the legendary dragon from the ancient Nibelungen Myths. In a pond below the statue, hundreds of salamanders trhieve and grow, safe and peacefully.
After the garden, visitors enter the reptile zoo, where a small variety of arachnids, reptiles and birds (including tarantulas, boas, anacondas, Gila monsters, crocodiles, tortoises and colourful wild parrots) from all around the globe: all of them held in secure, hygyenic and dignifying conditions.
Entrance tickets are truly unexpensive, by the way.
