A beautiful and fitting memorial dedicated by Harry Truman. It remembers all our military from WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Beautiful park. Loved the memorial sculptures.
This place was beautiful! I brought my infant on a stroll to the park, and we hung out for a while under a tree. The rose garden (its October) still had really pretty blooms on all the roses. The memorial was really quite the sight. We will definitely be returning in the future. There is plenty of room in the park to stretch out and sky gaze, and enough trees to keep you from getting cooked by the sun.
Beautiful area to visit! We went there for a photo shoot for maturity pictures for my daughter and loved the gardens and area!
This is an absolute gem! The roses are so pretty! And it is a nice and quiet place to walk or reflect. I really enjoy visiting the rose garden.
