Beautiful walk to rockpools at low tide. Sand was firm for a comfortable walk. Water was warm and crystal clear 🥰
I had a great experience to be able to visit the rock pools, which are accessible during low tide but become an island during high tide. Little fish and crabs can be seen in the pools for a bit of wildlife discovery.
Small walk here from the main beach... can't see the pools until very close.
Probably only 2 pools so was lucky to get there when no one was around. Beautiful spot with small fish eating your feet in the pool.

Lovely beach and place to visit. We used the BBQ and tables and walked on the rocks and wide beach. Spent several hour there and it was lovely with the family
A gorgeous rock pool that can be accessed only at low tide. The pool has a sandy bottom and is inhabited by cute fish. Rock hopping is required so wear reef shoes if you have them.
Can’t go over to the island as is migratory bird sanctuary, however, the vast areas of beach and estuary are stunning and I can imagine very busy during school holidays and weekends. It was lovely yesterday, huge rollers and kite surfers in the bay to watch. Excellent fish and chips at the Driftwood cafe right on the front!

I reckon to visit there between 12pm-3pm.
So many fish inside that pool and they’re eating your dead skin when you swim in the water or sit on the rock.
Frist time was scared them however enjoyed.

Beautiful place to come for a walk and a swim. It's also fun to investigate the rock pools and see the thousands of crabs scurrying around. Great for the kids, too.
