Not much to see really. It's just a tree.

The tree is to the left of the shelter. There is no parking. We parked opposite for a quick read of the plaque, and a local lady advised the school bus was due with the tight bend was not advised so be warned! As part of the experience with the museum you need to visit. It is a 2 minute drive.

Good to see where it all happened in 1834, an important milestone in the history of the Labour movement. But alas forgot to check and the Martyrs Inn was shut at lunch tiime. We were on foot and nowhere else to eat in walking distance.

Well myself and my mum came to the small museum today of tolpuddle martyrs 🌲 tree n unfortunately we found it closed Monday and Wednesday... Only open on Thursday and Sunday with short hours due to covid related. ... So we joined a old peoples coffee morning at the local community hall. 😂😆It was kinda nice.
Thank you very much to the kind ladies for the coffees. 😊

Sleepy little town for such a significant event in British Unionist history. A nice reminder of what the working class were fighting for.

Such apart of English history, set in a beautiful village..you actually can imagine being there in 1835.
