The visitor center is open again! Now open Thursday through Sunday. Nicely produced interactive exhibits tell the story and the history of the Blackstone River and surrounding industry. Spotless facility with warm staff and nice exhibits.

This is a beautiful concept of an urban park but needs to have the building open it's always closed. Bike/walking paths are nice.

I attended an event and was surprised at this incredible facility. There are history lessons here, also a great place for all types of events.

A new Jewel for Worcester and Central Massachusetts!

This is the start of the bike path in Worcester. I was amazed at how nice this was. The heritage building is great with good amenities and a nice parking lot. The building was locked when we got there so no access to public restrooms. The bike path was fun, we rode to Millbury where you would need to go on the road to go further. I think it was about 3 miles one way. You can find maps online of the whole bike bath.

Loved the interactive history of the BHC in the main building. Walked on the elevated path along the Middle River. Gorgeous views. Volunteer ( Angelo ) in the main building was very helpful explaining the history of the area and passed out information for further exploration. Great day 😉

Definitely worth a trip to visit, interesting exhibits illustrating Worcester's industrial roots. Also offers class/meeting spaces as well as housing DCR's regional offices.
