Amazing place. Specially in Rainey days.
Beautiful during a weeknight sunset in early August. Quite noisy however. But the view made up for the noise.

Coney Island never looked so good!!
Boardwalk is nice & clean! Amusement park is open! Fun carnival games! Great place to spend time with kids! There’s also a ferry for whale watching & great restaurants
Great traditional boardwalk park! Loved the classic Cyclone Rollercoaster and all the exhilarating rides! Many rides for thrill seekers and some for smaller kids. Best part is that it is on the boardwalk and the beach. Much like Santa Cruz, California. Both iconic roller coasters are from 1920’s! Great carnival food, shops and rides!
The Boardwalk itself is quite nice (at least in the morning when there is no rush and tourists like us). There are a lot of shops for eat and drink as well, of course relatively expensive and also very well booked in the afternoon. The fairground rides at luna park are ok (for kids) but nothing special.
All in all, we spent a nice half of the day in coney island, if you plan to lay on the beach or go swimming, a complete day could be also pass away.

The Coney Island Boardwalk spans numerous places to eat, drink, get some sun, hop off onto the beach, or join in the fun at the amusement parks.
