Hiawatha Golf Range

Was going to the range to today checked on line it says open got there it says closed for the season. Web site needs update

Helpful staff and in good condition but a few of the rubber tees were broken so when it was busy there wasnt as many options. Also the electronic machines at each spot still dont work. It's the old bucket style.

Lovely driving range with covered tee off spots! Reloadable card with machine dispensed balls. Open air grass spots available for iron swinging!

Great place to go and take some swings for practice. Currently they have the automated machines down for maintenance. Also needs some minor divot repairs on the grass parts.
Still highly recommend going with, or without the kids!

Not family orientated. I was with 3 who were practicing and two children 4 mths and 16 mths. We were playing, with children, on the grass by the ball diamond. Was told it was private property and couldn't play there . When asked there is no fence or sign telling us this. We were told that people were stealing. Nothing there to steal especially with two young ones. Not cool.

Good range but it seems to close at the slightest drizzle of rain. I've lost count the amount of times I've pulled up to find it 'closed due to weather' when its okay out. Also that Monday evening ball pickup is madness - thats prime time surely.

Went to the range at 6 pm on a beautiful 24 degree sunny Monday to be told that they were closed at 6:00 for "ball picking". You would think that this would be done on off peak hours like 8 am or 9 am??? Some people just don't like to make money I guess!
