Starbucks Tyger Valley

Honestly, I love the coffee here, and would come back for more. The only thing I hate is this new protocol of showing the customer the screen to add a tip- a tip for what? giving me the service you were hired to do? punch in your system my order? I am confused, as a Millennial being 'cornered'/ expected to give tip for basic service, we all have jobs, we know life is tough, but tips are given when the customer feels you have earned it, it shouldn't be expected, I know in this world people don't carry change anymore, but the customer shouldn't be 'forced' to do so.
That is all, if the customer doesn't say 'I'd like to give tip' don't ask, especially from the younger generation, we're pinching our rands too, we shouldn't have to feel guilty of our tcl moment

Service extremely slow. I do not understand why they ask for a tip when you do not get served!?

Enjoyed my fist Starbucks coffee. Delicious and pretty strong. Slightly unusual taste. I can understand the HUGE US following. I was naughty and had a caramel sticky bun, despite being on diet!!! Oh well. The staff were friendly. I will go back even though they are expensive.

Halaal, but offers of what was available ddnt look appetizing, ddnt understand hype, ddnt bother to order.

Beautiful coffee with warm croissant what more can one ask in wintertime in Cape Town

Went there on the morning of 14 December 2022, just after 11am. Ordered a grande hot chocolate.

The place looked very festive and cute. The free wifi makes it a good place to chill at.

Loadshedding happened at 12pm and the the generator kicked in. They still operate during loadshedding which is a bonus.

Maybe a little bit pricey for a cups of coffee but worth a spoil every now and again. Staff friendly and very quick service ☕️☕️
