Iconic canal row with colorful townhouses and boats. It's a great spot to get some classic Copenhagen photo shots in, even when it gets busy. We went on a Wednesday midday, when it was cloudy, in March and it was relatively slow. We stopped by again the following Sunday when the sun came out and it was much busier, but still easy to get shots and walk around. There are cafes, shops, and hotels along the canal and tons more nearby, so it's an easy area to add to any agenda. There are also canal tours available. It's definitely a don't miss location.

Touristy place with a cool vibe. The colourful houses give the place a charm. Terraces, restaurants available. Place to go boating, with guide. Very nice! I loved it.

A must see tourist attraction of the city. The beautifully painted houses on the side of the waterway are home to many small restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.

Beautiful picturesque places with colorful houses by the canal. Recommend visiting in the late afternoon for golden hour views and taking a boat tour to explore the city of Copenhagen.

In my opinion the best time come to this place is in the morning, before it gets busy. Can more relax to taking a picture, or even going side seeing with the boat. Just be careful with the car and bicycles whenever you taking a photo, make sure to not hamper the road. Oh btw the boat trips is worth to try. But keep focus on your safety.

Lovely picturesque harbour offshoot with a variety of colourful buildings, moored boats (and sightseeing cruises) and easy access to the rest of the city. The attitude of the restaurants differed greatly - we were ignored at one for many minutes, but warmly welcomed at the next. I prefer the second of.the two business models!
