Incredible beach with an absolutely stunning walk to get there. This is one of the best places to view the sunset. There are plenty of rabbits and birds on the way there, making it a really nice spot. It can get pretty windy but that applies for the entire coast. Also saw some people surfing here
Memorable beach walk at low tide. We were practically the only ones except for the Snowy Plover which, as the signs say, are endangered. Its one of the few Santa Barbara beaches where you can walk for miles without worrying about a high tide.
There is a bluff walk above the beach which must be spectacular. Parking was remote and confusing but keep heading toward the end as Google maps shows and there is a metered lot there.

Awful. No one should ever head out there. Just the worst kind of beach. The snowy plovers bite. The waves are too high. There are too many shells and too much driftwood. It's frequently deserted. There are too many weird squishy sea creatures in the tide pools. Seriously, don't go. And if you do go, make sure you tell everyone how awful it is, regardless of your experience.
Saw a rocket launch from Vandenberg and a snowy plover. What could be better?!
Perfect sunset!! Not too crowded but there’s a bit of tar. Parked somewhere in UCSB housing area and walked a bit.
Great beach with long strand of sand and lots of trails nearby
Coming from a Chicagoan, this beach is so pretty, clean, and full of life with the occasional surfers and students. Understandable why. The sunsets here emasculate!! 🌅
