This location is very professional and convenient. I recommend this location for quick response

Everything was nice clean no long waiting in line it is the only one I really like

This is a good place to go if you want to avoid super long lines and talk to someone one on one. The security guards and older staff are pretty helpful and give good advice when it comes to navigating their new protocol in response to COVID-19. However, some of newer staff are rude, condescending, and disrespectful for no reason. I understand that dealing with human services is sensitive and can create high pressure environment. However, given that the automated option provided are usually inoperable and certainty unhelpful, the staff should hold more grace for visitors simply looking for answers. I’ve experienced and witnessed visitors speaking calmly and politely and met with so much vitriol and impatience. Actions to improve these portals and websites, created to reduce direct communication with visitors and applicants, seem to be moving slow or are nonexistent. I’m sure a lot of us would rather have lifestyles where all of our needs are met, but in the meantime, it would behoove DHS to treat us like humans, adult humans at that. Most are just trying to eat and have places to rest our heads at the end of the day. Let’s be kind, please :)

They have the worse attitude. You can ask the most polite question and they’re snappy. Who chooses to have a meeting around opening, further slowing down the business and the wait is just horrible. They rebuilt this for what?

Worse place ever no one is really there to help you and they mix your information up and make you go through hell to get it fix for there mistakes. If I could give place 0 stars I would I think everyone should be fired including management and they just start over with better people who actually wants to do their job and help you get off of welfare and succeed but instead they make u feel worse about yourself and there really ratchet in there I just can’t stand going in there and I know I’m never going to get I help I need from them

I would give this place 0 stars if I could.
No matter how early you get here, be prepared to wait 4+ hours.
The people that work here are incompetent, inhuman, and inconsiderate. They all take lunch at the same time with no regard to how many people are waiting to be seen. They are rude, and do not want to help you. Period. Why be in human services? It's beyond me. How can you have a bigger building with more going for it and still be this slow? The workers do not care. If you complain you are asked to either just wait or leave. This is by far the slowest, most inefficient, DHS location in DC and there is no one you can complain to who cares in the slightest.
The system is broken, the employees are burnt out, rude, uneducated and here for a check. Avoid this place like the plague, don't come unless you have all day and nothing to do with your time.

8 months pregnant and they tell me I can't eat in there but I can eat outside of the door and it felt like I was going to faint standing up trying to eat after i have already waited 6 hours and still wasnt seen until 2 hours later.
They might as well give people jobs there if we're going to be in there a whole shift waiting to be seen. Sometimes I was in there I seen workers coming in the morning. By time they're getting off is when Im seen. Thats pitiful. But I also blame society for not wanting to get jobs and take care of their damn self. If I wasnt pregnant and didnt need bed rest I would damn sure be at my job! Lazy *** black men and women!
