Nice experience in Amsterdam with beautiful canal views

We went on a cruise with Lovers Canal Cruises. During the cruise, our 1-year-old daughter soiled her diaper. So, we went to the Lovers Cafe located just off the boat. We explained the situation, and despite having paid for a cruise with this company, the person told us that if we wanted to use the restroom to change our daughter, we had to make a purchase. In this world, even the dignity of a one-year-old has become a paid commodity... Shame on you.

It was a dark and rainy night, so we didn't change our daughter outside. Our daughter had to remain in her own mess for another 40 minutes until we found a place with understanding and compassionate people.

Many public restrooms are not properly equipped to change children. This should be a mandatory facility in all public restrooms.

I can't say anything about the food or drinks because I left the place even before ordering. The waitress has been rude to me since I came in, and I can read similar experiences in other reviews. I wanted to use the toilet and I was surprised that every costumer have to pay 1€ to use it. I found it ridiculous so I asked her for clarifications and she just said "of course everyone have to pay". I took my stuff from the table and left. Your decision to pay 1€ for the toilet, but not good for me!

I remember having a coffee here and a brownie a long time ago. But the brownie wasn't your normal choco cake. I didn't know where or who I was for 6 hours, but I will never forget it. Ps. I wonder if they are still on the menu.❓

Best place for a cold beer and place to people watch.

The name LOVERS doesn't match with this place!
After a long tour of Amsterdam, I went there to have a drink, the time they prepare my drink I asked to go to the toilet, after 5min, the waitress (brunette) came yelling and knocking the toilet's door asking me to get out of the bathroom, she thought that I was with someone! After everything were clarified, she refused to serve my drink saying that they have closed the bar.
I found out after with the manager that they close at 18h two hours after I came, no one was able to explain me why I couldn't have my drink, Is it because of the color of my skin?
Also she was very rude even if she was totally wrong, other people noticed the same in the comments
