Danygraig Nursing Home

From my own experience. This is the best place for care. Nice ambiance and friendly staff

Recently my mother passed away at Danygriag nursing home after a short stay of only 3 months but during that time the staff at the home were excellent and mam was happy and content. My mam went there after a 16 week stay in hospital, which she said she would never return to and even though her health deteriorated rapidly towards the end the whole team respected her wishes and put everything in place to keep her comfortable and pain free. Once end of life was initiated my sister and myself were allowed to stay with mam in her room and for this we are eternally grateful as it meant the last week of her life we were together constantly.Anyone whose is looking for a nursing home for their loved ones I would highly recommend Danygriag as not only do they look after your family member but they look after and include the extended family too.

This care home was highly recommended by my Mum's GP and I was very impressed with the care my Mum got during her time there. She moved in during the pandemic and was extremely well looked after. The staff went out of their way to give us access including bringing her outside when the weather was good so we could sit with her on their lovely decking area. I can't thank them enough for the care they showed in my Mum's last few months. Just like her GP did, I highly recommend it.

The staff & management cared for my Dad right up until he passed away in April. I couldn't have wished for better care for him.

I worked here for a few years up to 2003. Standard was good then it was a beautiful care home. Then..The manager changed staff unhappy standards dropped. Many long term older staff are having pressure on them to leave now. It went downhill.

It's a nursing home with a good focus on dementia care. My mother was a resident for five years. The general staff and care workers were very good, friendly and helpful. The medical nurses compassionate and empathetic.

My great grandmother is a resident and they treat her really well. They had a family barbeque on with gazebos, plenty of good food, a barbeque and they had a raffle. It's a really beautiful place with great nurses.
