Super cool spot in an old-school Eugene building.

Specials, rolls, specialty rolls, chefs specials, and more were tried. So. Freaking. Good!

Rolls and various fish dishes were super tasty. Drinks were delicious. Staff were all absolute delights!

There's a lot of decent sushi locally, these folks cut above the rest!

Sushi is something you don't want to take chances on. That being said, I have gotten sick both times I ate here. Which is really sad because it is a cool atmosphere. We did not have a reservation, but we did get seated within 20 minutes of waiting. Service was very slow it took a very long time to even get our drink order taken. I wish they had what sauces were added to rolls and more descriptive roll information as well as bigger images in the menu. There are a lot of sushi options in town. I will not be trying again due to getting sick for a second time.

Consistently delicious food. Sushi is really fresh and the combinations of flavors are great. Loved the Gyoza and miso too. My only complaint is that it can be pretty cramped at the small tables. However, the food is worth it.

My husband and I have been coming to Sushi Pure for years. We love it. The food is lovely and safe for me (celiac). The one thing that we don’t like is being seated in the little room downstairs. The seat is too high or the table is too low so I feel uncomfortable the whole time. The wall is graffitied and makes me feel like the kid at the back of the classroom with the messed up desk. We asked to be seated somewhere else but they said there were no other tables available, the open ones were for other reservations. Next time we’ll say we don’t want to sit there when we check in.

We love the restaurant, we just hate those weird booth rooms.

My husband and I drove 3 hours to come eat here for our anniversary, and it did NOT disappoint! It may sound like a lot of travel just for some sushi, but not when you have a gluten allergy, and this place has a dedicated gluten free menu. My husband has the allergy, I do not. We ordered 2 gluten free rolls, tuna and salmon maki, and I ordered one roll for myself from the regular menu. We also enjoyed their gluten free miso soup! The rolls were spectacular! Not just the same old rolls you find everywhere, but very unique, highly thought out, and beautifully presented. Each roll we tried had its own unique sauce pairing, and these were definitely one of a kind sauces that we couldn't even identify but were SO incredibly delicious! Our favorite was the GF Love Affair which was actually our first time trying scallops. The taste, freshness, and texture of the scallops and crab meat (real! Not Krab) was amazing. They also have gluten free soy sauce available. The decor and ambience was very nice, though I did notice the seating on many of the booths was in bad shape. However, that's literally the only negative thing I have to say and judging by the quality of the food just tells me those booths have seen a lot of butts! The service was very friendly, inviting, and accommodating, and left us wanting for nothing. Definitely recommend! PS: sorry about the photo of the Love Affair roll with only two pieces left, it was so good we almost devoured it before snapping a pic! But just look at that pretty sauce!

Sushi Pure is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in town! I've been a sushi enthusiast since I was 6 years old, and I've even owned and operated my own restaurant for over a decade. Their tuna and fresh fish are top-notch, and I can't get enough of their Colosseum and Oregon Dragon rolls. When I'm looking for something extra special, I always go for the Chef's omakase, a fantastic culinary adventure. Sushi Pure is truly a culinary gem!

Sushi in Eugene. Maybe? Sure why not. Glad I gave it a try. WOW!!! I travel a lot. I eat a lot and I used to be a professional cook so I can be a restaurants worst nightmare. Sushi Pure is a diamond in the rough. Quite literally in the top 5 best places I've had Sushi ever. That includes 10 different locations in Japan.

Cut to the chase. The sushi is top notch, high grade and you won't be disappointed!

The restaurant is clean.that staff is friendly and professional. It feels like a quaint comfortable restaurant and not stuffy or elitist, (for this level of quality, they could and be justified).

Great experience. Great food. Will definitely be back when I'm in town. If you're a local or passing through town, add Sushi Pure to you're list.
