I've never seen an arcade this fun and swanky. They were showing a game in the alley food court on a big projector.
The entire area is rather pleasant to walk around in an outdoors setting. Hotels, restaurants, ice cream, with plenty of free parking. There's a popular second hand clothing store with interesting items.
Upscale shopping area with overpriced souvenirs for someone passing through and staying at the hotels in the area. Handel's ice cream is a good stop and when in Rome visit the Nike store before you depart. Makes it feel like Eugene has a nice walkable downtown area for one or two blocks.
Best party of the SUMMER..HIGH STREET ROCKED 5TH STREET...HOTEL KALIFORNIA OPENED...GREAT NIGHT.
Fun place. to sit and people-watch. Get a glass of wine from Pfeiffer and sip while people walk by.
Great mix of hotels, restaurants and shops. Love the Market Place and the ice cream shop Handlers.
