A great gym all in all. They have nice old school route setting with a more modern comp wall and also Unit-E which is full of different styles. Full of friendly staff and locals, great coffee and snack selection.
Good for beginners, and there is a kids section for the little ones.

This is the best bouldering gym I have ever been to. The routesetting is very fun at every grade. And the grading is very accurate. If you are in the area I would recommend trying out this gym

Brilliant centre, great setting and variety of walls, love the mini works too for kids. Not sure if anyone from the centre reads the reviews, but some constructive feedback that I think would make it even better…. Utilise unit E better with circuits of all grades. I get it that it’s nice for some of the hardcore to escape the crowds, but I rarely see it occupied and for mere mortals, such as the rest of us, it’s a squandered opportunity. Secondly, I would replace the iron bru circuit for a more modern set of holds. I think the holds are uninspiring, and leads to the least inspiring circuit of the centre. That’s fine, as the other circuits rock, but I think getting another circuit at the same grade with more varied and creative shapes would lead to a better circuit.
I appreciate there are staff and costing limitations, but would be amazing to see.

We attended the SEN session on A Friday.
Slight issue but was incredibly well handled by the staff.
Ollie, Hattie & Tom 10* incredible staff members…

Amazing facilities, really welcoming for everyone.

Thank you very much for our session 🙂

We went to Mini works and absolutely loved it! Super chill and a fantastic place to take your kids of any age! We went with my 2.5 year old and he had such a good time climbing and my 6 month old who enjoyed watching!

What a gym this is! We had a bit of a nightmare as after being away for a few days, my other half had taken all our climbing gear out of the car by mistake ... Except an old pair of my daughter's climbing shoes. So we got here and she got to work .. mini climbing works for shorter people is brilliant. Awesome concept. Delivered well and the setting is next level. Technical and forces kids to learn to climb with good technique if they want to progress. Main climbing area for better climbers is superb. Great comp wall and training area plus lots of very challenging problems, which are once again of a superb standard in terms of problem setting. One of the best centres I've been to for setting. It's old skool vibe and not as clean and polished as the chain centres but don't let that out you off if you are new. You'll find lots of great easier problems too and fantastic coffee to boot! Also a shop on site for shoes merch etc. Top notch. Parking can be a bit tight.
