The Kansas City Juke House

First visit yesterday and to start the hostess, light skin woman with long black braids was not friendly at all. Didn’t direct us where to go, no friendly greeting. Just a bad attitude but with another table she seemed to be a tad bit more friendly. Wasn’t the best way to start. Waiter was great and food was delicious which made a better experience. Just need to get that hostess some manners and better customer service skills.

Such a wonderful relaxed atmosphere especially after a work week. Food was great with nice size portions. Great service. Great vibe. We will be back for sure.

Live music was nice. I went on a Saturday around 830 or 9. Wasn't crowded at all. It was a nice date night. Drinks were average priced. Cover was $5. I will return for sure.

This is a casual upscale place to unwind in the middle of your work week. The type of place where you laugh dance and have fun. With an amazing security team cooks and staff they don’t miss when it comes to time to please.

The bartenders are so kind and personable. They make excellent drinks. You definitely get what you pay for! The juke offers a grown and sexy vibe while still being a low key spot you can enjoy yourself in.

This place is all that a jazz dive should be. Strong drinks, smooth music and dancing, friendly waitstaff and delicious soul/barfood. A fun night with work friends I won't soon forget!

Attended Monday night Soul session. 7/31/2023, Let's just say the entertainment was on 🔥. We were celebrating my girlfriend's 70th birthday. We had the best time. The service was good, shout to Ms. Tee she was a great waitress, and the food was lip smacking good . We had a variety from shrimp to fried, whiting 😋 it was quiet while we eating had to concentrate on a delicious plate. After food, it was party time. It was a great time had by all. Four people were in attendance. Yes, we will return.
