We joined Miami Volleyball Academy after many seasons in another sport and did not know what to expect. We have found that MVA isn't just your run of the mill volleyball club - it's a vibrant community where passion for the game combined with expert coaching develops some of the most talented athletes in the region.
Our daughter is 13 years old and started playing just a few months ago but we have seen her skill grow tremendously. Coaches are vested in the athletes and the club is extremely competitive in every division. We look forward to many more years at MVA with both of our daughters and are so grateful to have joined the Miami Volleyball Academy family.

Super disappointed with my experience at MVA. Season started really well but along the way they switched to a really young Assistant Coach, Nanda, who would engage the 14-16 yr old girls in conversations about drinking, and fake ID’s. She’d yell obscenities at the girls during practice and competitions. Then went further by shunning the girls who didn’t take part in her click by not letting them play. When I brought the issue to the Assistant Club Director Natalia, she said she’d speak to this assistant coach and attend the next competition to ensure fair play. Fast forward to the next competition, they continued to exclude the two younger girls, one being my daughter. These sports are meant to develop these girls athletically, personally and to help them become the best version of themselves. Shame on you MVA, you had the opportunity to do the right thing and you didn’t.

I attended a competition at the MVA. The assistant coach is a bully and very rude towards certain players. She is 18-19 years old and it clearly shows. She has no leadership skills or any sympathy towards the players. Very petty and picks on some of the players. It was embarrassing and I wouldn't wish anyone to attend this academy.
BTW I'm not a parent, not 100% sure if you can read or not because the last names do not match. I only saw what was happening when spectating the game and it was embarrassing. You are very rude and so is your assistant coach. She needs an attitude check real quick and I'm sure she'll get one soon because she's going to be snarky towards the wrong parents and she's gonna find out. Prayers to you and your little coach you got.

This review is in response to the response given to Summer Whited’s review. I’m the parent they are speaking about. Summer Whited is not my daughter’s parent or even related to us in any way. If their response isn’t enough for you to know that MVA is not the right place for your daughter, I don’t know what is. An 18 year old assistant coach who showed up hungover to practice and talked about drinking at the age of 13 with a fake ID is not what we paid for. We also didn’t pay to have an 18 year old coach have a tantrum and curse at the girls. Shame on Natalia and your unprofessional program. Fernanda, the girls don’t care about you crying all night because your boyfriend dumped you and they sure don’t care about you being hungover. Grow up!

Awesome club!!!! The best decision we made was to put our daughter in MVA. The coaches are caring, kind and super prepared. My daughter is as happy as any young lady can be. Keep up the good work!

I have been a volleyball parent for over 10 years and we have been members of other clubs. MVA is by far the best program in South Florida. The coaches are extremely professional, knowledgeable, encouraging and caring with the girls. Every coach and staff member that we have dealt with has treated us like family. A major testament to the culture is to see how many former players have returned to coach and stay part of the program. Top class program from the owners through the entire staff.

Best club and family to be a part of. MVA is filled with trustworthy coaches who not only understand the game but also how to cater to each player’s learning style. Such a beautiful, competitive volleyball environment that has shared amazing lessons and personal growth for myself, teammates, and family🩷thank you coaches
