Great views, plenty of nice walks to be had here, several benches scattered around the reservoir.

Ducks and Geese can be quite invasive especially if you have food.

The only negative really is the amount of dog poo by the lakes so sitting down there can be quite awkward as on the banks of the river it can quite big and spread out.

There are only a few parking spaces, but it's never gets too busy, and sees more people in the summer.

The fisherman can be quite miserable especially for men. But not so aggressive to women on their own. However they can be very very rude.

There is a smaller pond on the opposite side of the road.

There are a couple of entrances to the lake, one is a small cattle gate which is directly adjacent to the road, where the small inlet for temporary parking is located.

There are a couple of bins strategically located so there is never a reason to leave any rubbish or litter on the site.

The site is not convenient to walk too, but can be accessed just off the A5 or via the other way driving down Blakeney Way.

The lake is fenced off from the main road so it's generally quite safe to walk your dog off lead here.

Overall the lake is a beautiful view and a nice walk.

Private water to fish under a Blackfords permit (£25 from Ians tackle in Penkridge). Plenty of pegs all well maintained and plenty to catch.
