Fantastic place to bring the family for a short and manageable walk through nature. Trails are well marked, lots of benches, and clear pathways. Very enjoyable experience with 3.5 miles of trails and fun place to knock out a sunny afternoon and be outside.

Some of the seat wasn't the most reliable to sit on or any in the gazebo. but it was very nice we took our family photos here. Nice flowers to look at. Didn't go on the trails on the other side though. Not very big but nice.

Absolutely lovely trails that feel like you’re far away from the city. Only one of 2 places in Virginia for the Camellia Trail Gardens, I can’t wait to see them in bloom this spring.

Been in Chesapeake a long while now and never been here til recently. Decided to go mushroom hunting. Beautiful trails. Beautiful area.
This is a really nice trail. I'm not sure what the definition of an Arboretum is, but I will say this is NOT jam packed with a lot of flowers (at least as of August 2023). Even without a lot of color, it's a very nice trail to walk with a lot of little bridges, natural canopies, mushrooms on the ground, creepy looking trees, and some bits of water, a couple of tiny benches, and a wooden viewing platform. It's not too long but if you're not accustomed to trails you can get a little lost because things start looking the same but there are maps at some of the bridges which are lettered to differentiate them so you can get back on track. I did NOT get to look at the side where the parking lot is with the gazebo and some flowers so there's a bit more to see there.

PARK HACK!! I was pleasantly surprised to learn that if you exit at Entrance 3, you get a whole other little bonus park to explore!! Oak Brooke Park has a fairly short straight trail that leads to a more typical recreational park. So it's like you get 2 parks for the price of 1!

Beautiful trails to walk, and it's really peaceful and quiet. There are a few benches scattered throughout to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Lots of wildlife can be seen, depending on the time of year. In our first two visits we encountered a raccoon and a water moccasin (so be cautious).

Great short trail with several options to switch it up and do different loops or change direction. Whether you want to walk 1 mile or several, this is a nice hidden gem. The website has a PDF map, which I found helpful. I imagine this is very pretty in the spring when the flowers are blooming. I'm looking forward to seeing that.
