If you want to experience very local, abra is good to enjoy with reasonable price, one ride is 1 dirhams. After riding abra, you pay coin to the driver.
Because of this stunning beauty, I’m living closer to it for 4 years. Have to change the place but can’t. I will definitely heartily missing this place Abra whenever I leave it. Calm as well as busy in public hours. Washrooms, restaurants, cafeterias, prayer area, park, light exercise facilities, walking, sitting benches etc all with natural beauty of water. The best one more is 1 dirham boat to but Dubai and Dubai museum. In shorty you gonna love it very much

You can travel to old dubai Deira by boat from here. The boat man will charge only 1 Durham. You will enjoy this ride.
One AED / Diraham, per person. Excellent plan to enjoy boat ride between Gold Soukh to Bur Dubai. Very fast and enjoyable trip,a must go for everyone visiting Dubai.
Visited on weekday, because we wanted to avoid numerous tourists croups, it is amazing experience. The only I don’t recommend it is buy something in old city, prices are high. 25 AED for Turkish ice cream😂 come on guys it is still Deira, this prices you can’t find even in JBR. Who wants to get souvenirs, get them from old souk, on the Abra side
The journey is a visual treat but in a city like Dubai, there should be more destinations rather than just 2. Also, the jettys are so outdated and the Deira souk jetty is very cramped and sometimes feels like suffocating.
