I love taking an early morning walk at Crescent Beach.

I enjoy going to Cresent Beach
It's much more laid-back than Whiterock. You can still find lots of free parking which is really nice.
The beach is very accessible and offers lots of areas to lay around in the sun.
When the tide is out, you can walk halfway across the channel to the opposite side.
Dogs love it there as they can run thru the water having fun, something most Dogs love.
I find it's a more relaxed atmosphere than in Whiterock. Whiterock has become such a tourist area its difficult sometimes just to find paid parking.

Beautiful spot! Bring a chair, some drinks(you know the kind) and enjoy the peace. This is further away from the craziness at Blackie Spit (North of this spot)
Beautiful and quiet place, perfect for watching the sunset. Had to go down a number of stairs though:)
