My child goes here and it is a great school! First and foremost, it has strong academics. But it also has excellent, caring faculty, a diverse, talented student body, and clean and safe facilities. It's really expanded its sports and extra-curricular activities in recent years and its PTA does a lot to connect the community. Couldn't be happier!

I've had the pleasure of working with both College Park Academy and CPA@Home over the last 4+ years from marketing and communications projects to secondary education admissions management. Over the years I've continued to be impressed by the school's leadership team and diverse group of faculty and staff. Their dedication to being an innovative leader in education has never faltered. They are not only a top notch educational institute in Prince George's County but they stand head to head against the best schools in Maryland.

There are 3 good reasons 9 kids apply for every open seat at CPA. First, graduates are accepted at top colleges like Johns Hopkins, Penn, Duke, UVA, UC/Berkeley and the University of Maryland. Second, it has the safe and supportive culture of a small school with the opportunities for foreign languages, art, music, electives, and AP and early college courses of a big school. Finally, it’s the kind of rigorous college prep school that working parents in Prince George’s can afford since it’s a free public charter school.

I've worked with College Park Academy on various projects since 2019. During that time, I've had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside several senior staff and board members. It is evident that the faculty and the board are genuinely committed to the success of each and every CPA student. The school takes great pride in fostering a progressive and supportive academic environment that prepares students for college and beyond. CPA has become the gold standard for the blended-learning model. Other public schools should be paying close attention!

I’ve had the privilege to work for this school for over 6 years now and have gotten to know some really great people during that time. At its heart, a school is its people. From the Board and its committee members, the Executive Director, administrative staff and teachers, I will say that they are dedicated to the mission, they do things the right way and make decisions with the students best interests in mind. I can only hope to continue helping them grow and achieve the great things ahead.

I serve as the HS Principal of CPA and can really say that this is a great school. We have limited sports but our focus is Blended Learning and I don't think anyone does it better than our staff. We have a warm and welcoming environment that focuses on safe and orderly. We offer 15 AP courses and challenge our students with a rigorous curriculum. The school has its limitations but overall is an outstanding school. We finished 2nd in PGCPS behind only ERHS on the World News and National Report ranking of high schools in PGCPS.

After being in this school for almost 4 years now, I can say without a doubt that it is a good school, with standards. This school has strict teachers who educate the students well, and don't go out of lines. The food in this school isn't all that good, but I can understand because it is not a really big school and does have limitations such as other school in the area as well as Prince Georges County as a whole. Anyways, my experience at this school has been quite nice and I hope I get to say this as the years come and go.

The teacher quality is fair. The only quality and or qualified enough teacher category would be the success coach. Others and not saying all either don't teach anything or use there higher power and control others to there liking. The school lunches provided by the county is horrible. Some of the food taste like plastic .One good thing about CPA is the college credits that you will receive if you have pass a class or multiple classes with an A. Which if you do not study hard or take notes and retain the information that is given by Connexus and not much of the teachers you will fail the class and you will not have college credits . By not having at least a 2.0 GPA or higher you will either be kicked out or forced to do summer school behind my knowledge.
