This is an architectural gem of Boston. It could use some updating, but it's important to keep the integrity of the stadium. A testament to the generation who had craftsmanship

Came here to watch my stepson finish his first half marathon. We got into the stands to watch and cheer him on as he finished. When we wanted to leave it took us roughly forty to fifty minutes to get out of the stands. There were five ways to get out four of them were locked. This forced everyone to the one exit, which was also the entrance. So, there were people coming in and leaving from this one area. Had there been an emergency situation this would have been disastrous.

Shame on the City of Boston for putting people in harms way.

Historic White Stadium has a football field and track complex that seats up to 10,000 and is currently used by the Boston Public Schools. It's a cool opportunity for kids to compete at a facility that looks like a vintage sports film set.

Area clean and kids love it..
It would be better if the Boston Public school would use it more. 2 kids graduated BPS and come here for the very first time today. Definitely going to be coming back to walk around the track.

I got an email stating that White Stadium would be open to the public during the week til 4pm so I jumped at the opportunity and made my way up there. I start by doing 1 mile jogging on the Track (4 laps around track = 1 mile), then I make my way towards the stairs where I do 10 sets (70 stairs total), then I take a water break b4 I make my way back to the track where I do 1 mile walking. I usually can do all these exercises in under 60 minutes, but there is no need to rush things. Come to White Stadium and enjoy the fresh air, the views, and get some sun while you are there. It's a hidden gem where you can get a beautiful workout outdoors.
