Well worth the trip but be very aware of accessibility. My mum (who has limited mobility) had phoned up and been told there weren’t many steps. It’s a decent walk up the side of a hill to get to the entrance and then once inside constant up and down stairs (most of which at least have handrails). I’m still giving it 5 stars but with the caveat that you need to be aware it’s not for everybody.

Had a fantastic adventure at Treak cliff Cavern yesterday. Absolutely wonderful team organising everything, talking us through proceedings and giving us tips about the local area and things to do. Caverns we're brilliant, audio was very informative and interesting and great to be able to explore the caverns with the dogs . Absolutely cracking experience start to finish, highly recommended, although the climb to get up there is steep so bear that in mind before travelling.

Offers stunning views of the hills around the Peak District. The caves are fascinating and very well preserved. There’s loads to explore and discover about the history of the Castleton and the wider Peak District. It’s excellent as a family outing. There’s also the option of hiking up some of the hills. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great visit, using the app to guide us around the cave system. It was reasonably priced to get in and we bought some lovely jewelry, too

Great caves to explore!
Just be warned... it's a steep walk to get to the entrance, and there's no toilets (toilets close by in village carpark). In the caves are very wet, so wear a rain coat and watch your step (walking boots worked a treat). Also, make sure you download the app for the safety talk as they won't let you in unless you've listened it.
We loved our visit and would highly recommend it. The views at the top were beautiful.

Really enjoyed our visit to these caves . A little bit of a climb the the entrance surrounded by stunning views . Reasonably priced and we were able to take our dog in with us. Inside the caves are fascinating with some stunning formations really worth a visit.

5/5. Took our dog, staff very friendly. Self guided tour was great on the app.
Probably the best cave here. Even our dog liked it.
Do take your waterproof coat as it is very wet, drippy.
Thanks.
