The Accademia Gallery displays incredible Renaissance paintings and sculptures. Michelangelo's iconic "David" sculpture was my personal favorite. Really impressive!

Some of the most famous art on the planet resides here, and when you see it in person, it will change you for life. Just incredible works abound here. You'll need to reserve tics in advance with an entry time as well, and plan on coming early or late to avoid the crowds. We reserved @ 545 pm and we closed the place down, which allowed us to view Michangelos "David" without a crowd. I had him to myself! This Museum is a must visit while in Florence!

I love the Academy except for the crowds...It was on my third visit that I found out the most important thing was to get there very early so you could get the best photos...❤️ 🇮🇹

aside from the Michael angelo david. everything else is very much repetition of the portrait of jesus, mary and st john.

i think this can be missed if you’re not a big fan of michael angelo david.

The David of Michelangelo is here so there is a lot of people wanting to get in but they are terribly organized, we bought tickets for 1:45 and arrived earlier and they did not let us in until 2:15! You have to be in line for a long time and give you no explanation.
The ticket is €12 euro and is worth it because of the pieces but all the tickets are sold out most of the times because the people from the inside give the tickets to the local guides so they can sell them for more money.

Tolle Kunstschule & Ausstellung.
