West Toronto Baptist Church

This is my home church, the place where I found salvation and where my wife and I come to worship and serve. It's the church that inspires us to live our lives fully for the glory of Christ. Here, our three little ones are enveloped in love, care, and encouragement. It's the reason my wife and I deliberately chose our home to be within walking distance. Week after week, our love for Christ grows stronger here.

My wife and I have been attending West Toronto Baptist for almost a decade now. We've been more blessed and encouraged by the community, teaching, and fellowship here than I can truly express in a text box. Our little family has grown since our first day visiting WTBC but so has our spiritual family. Truly a community where people from diverse backgrounds can come and be spiritually fed and theologically enriched, all alongside genuine and true fellowship.

We and our three kids love West Toronto Baptist Church. We actually left to the US for 2023 and are now back to Toronto in part just so we can be a part of this wonderful church family and under the faithful preaching and ministry of Pastor Justin. The members of this church are wonderful, warm, and genuinely care about one another, as well as visitors. Those that greeted us in Nov 2021 were so kind in how they wanted to get to know us and know how they could encourage us and bless us.

Our kids are really blessed by the Sunday school before the service - it’s worth coming at 9am with them besides the adult Sunday school that runs at the same time and is always superb. Our kids have made many friends here and midweek hangouts in the neighbourhood with the moms and other kids are the norm for those with kids in the church. It’s a super family friendly church that loves Jesus and loves to make much of Jesus!

An amazing church full of people who love God and love each other, so well! I have personally never encountered the level of hospitality and servant-hearted friendship of WTBC in a church community before. Our young family is so blessed to call this church home!

Great and faithful Biblical and Jesus centered church. The community welcomed me and my husband from France so warmly, it's been almost 5 years now and we found a true family in Christ in Canada.

West Toronto Baptist Church is a very welcoming and word-centred church. The love for Christ and His church is evident in each of its members who passionately share the love for Christ.

It's hard to find a Spirit-led, biblically sound, prayerful, Christ exalting church in the city of Toronto. I drive in from Scarborough every Sunday morning and am always thankful for the congregational singing, the solid expositional preaching that always includes life application, and the warmth of fellowship as described in John 13:35, "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

I also love that there are so many young families in this church! They also offer free tutoring to the community and have a number of active local and international mission endeavors. I have grown so much in the short time I've been attending and am thankful for the many genuine friendships I've formed to encourage and challenge me in my faith.
