Japanese garden at Huntington is beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. The moon bridge over the pond is picturesque and the traditional Japanese house interesting. My three favourite gardens are the Chinese, Japanese and desert. The Japanese garden is a must when visiting Huntington.

Incredible experience on a sunny spring day. The cacti are spectacular and definitely my favorite, but equally impressed by bonsai roses were not in full bloom. I can not believe they brought a full Japanese house and reconstructed it there. Beautiful to visit it inside. The library is also astonishing with some incredible collection of old books, including a copy of Newton's Principia Mathematica. Stunning and unexpected! Food, as expected, looks overpriced.

Absolutely fabulous and well kept grounds. Very nice spot for sketching and relaxing. I 100% recommend visiting the gardens. They’re worth every penny.

One of the bigger Japanese Gardens in the area. Within this garden, they have several key buildings that showcase how traditional Japanese architecture was. There's the Shoya House, Pebble Garden, and Bonsai Garden too. Really beautiful! Thought I'd see more Cherry blossoms, but what I did see was still worth coming!

It's a bit more quaint than other parts of the garden, but come here to find your tranquility and marvel at the bonsai tree exhibit!

It's the most beautiful place in Southern California. Every visit is breathtaking. The museum, exhibits, gardens, the gift shop, all the little coffee shops around the property... I can't say anything bad. The gift shop employees are so helpful and always very nice. If I lived closer, I would visit every week.

If the Chinese garden is breathtakingly beautiful, then the beauty of the Japanese garden brings a peace of mind to you. Just like the depiction of Japanese people. They enjoy the quietness and zen.

I felt calm when I was here. Just looking at the landscape and the flora, it really did help bring out the inner peace of you.
