Lidl Schweiz

Went to Lidl Ostermundigen on 20.03.2023. Only one cashier tries to serve dozens of customers. No wonder she's nervous. But there is something even more puzzling. A large number of products do not have a clearly marked price or any price at all. And that poor cashier is sitting at the only register where the customer price monitor is not working (that is a monitor behind the back of the cashier, where you control the prices of the products she scans). The other three cash registers have working monitors, but empty chairs. There is no cashier there. Coincidence? Difficult to believe so... We asked the head of the branch why this is so. She replied that they had reported a monitor failure, but that no one had come to fix it. A month ago, that monitor also didn't work, so we wonder where the repairman is coming from. Australia? And by foot? We paid several items more than what was written on the shelves. And not for the first time. If it wasn't sad, it would be funny.

Don’t like the personal staff. There are not kindly with customer specifically if you don’t speak german.

I was in Lidl Ostermundigen today, and was very satisfied, Shop look so clean and shelves full, I was asking for one product and staff was so helpfull, I had great expierance here.

Ever since I started buying most of my groceries here, I've been saving money. Pretty much cut my expenses down 40%. They also offer large packages which I don't buy since I live alone. But I can imagine them being useful for families. Plus you get to have brands that are different from those found in migros and coop. Anyways give it a try and see if you like the difference

Basement parking is small and narrow. I have to come by bus 40 from Gumligen to shop here average 2 times a week. Another problem here is no toilet and no cafe where shoppers can sit and rest while waiting for their spouses to shop.
