Ironwood Homes of Lake City

These are some really nice homes. The salesperson was very informative and patient with us and (fighting) kids. We'll return again (without the kids).

Ironwood homes of lake city has sub standard homes on their lots that should not even be sold to the general public. From day one there has been nothing but issues with our home. From terrible caulking, uneven flooring, and walls that are completely unattached to the rest of the home. We have tried on many occasions to get the issues resolved, but each time they send a less competent “handy man” out than the last one. Live oak and ironwood are both companies I would never recommend to others

While the sales staff Mike Cox (rip) was very nice, the build quality of this home is something you would find in a third world country. patterned sheet rock turned sideways, duct work venting 100deg+ air INTO the home from outside, caulk work done by a meth head. I could rant for a hour on the absolute garbage craftsmanship of this home. Do yourself a favor, keep on driving.

My husband and I bought our home for here 2021. During the process of getting everything set up, there was little if not zero communication with us about what was happening. We ended up having to schedule most of the contractor work to get the process moving. In the end we owed about $4000+ in overages to ironwood homes, and because they failed to keep up with anything and didn’t notify us until the day before our scheduled closing of the overages we had to push out our closing(which shows me they didn’t run the numbers until then). When we expressed any concerns during the time of trying to get everything done, all concerns were brushed and they acted as if they didn't care about it. Since moving into our home, we have had to have things fixed multiple times by the manufacturer and now our AC is breaking for the second time. If you want to save yourself a major headache, go somewhere else.

If you're looking for a mobile home in North Florida, Ironwood Homes of Lake City is without a doubt the best option in the industry. Larry gave us a fantastic deal and communicated well with us throughout the duration of our home buying and installation process. The homes they sell here are also of great quality and are sure to take care of your family for multiple generations. Don't bother shopping at other dealerships, Ironwood is the place to purchase your dream home!

Jason, our salesman was the most professional, courteous, helpful, and provided prompt communication always, and very responsive to all our questions, concerns, and even offered services for a reputable home insurance company. Jason, was very knowledgeable in this field, and the inventory of homes was very impressive. He kept us informed every step of the way! I would highly recommend Ironwood and ask for Jason, and your new home purchase will be a smooth transaction, and we had an outstanding experience with him and Ironwood Homes. We ran into a multitude of problems from Ironwood homes of Lake City,FL. Larry is the worst to deal w and Cyndie straight out lied, even on paperwork. We were sold a home of merit, with a FULL 7 year Warranty, not a 1 year warranty that they claim we have. (We have paperwork). We were put off for repairs due to Covid and no staff and staff on drugs and hungover for 2 years. This buisness is a total joke. Our Marriage line is STILL not joined properly and there are drops in the flooring. I have over 22 emails from Danielle May, that works for Champion Homes of Merit, they make the homes for Ironwood. We went to them and Danielle reassured us they were behind, they were coming, they were so short handed they will get to us
Finally they showed up from Champion and said the entire Marriage wall is messed up and was never done right and they said refer back to Ironwood of Lake City, FL. Ironwood said send a complaint to the state, knowing it was over a year times passed and the state won’t do anything now, even though our closing papers say we have a FULL 7 yr warranty. This company has screwed enough people. We need to file a class action lawsuit against them there are so many people w major problems. We are currently working w an Attorney and one way or another Ironwood and Champion homes will satisfactorily repair their mistakes or they will buy us a new home! If you had or have problems w a Champion home, by all means feel free to contact me on FB. I’m sorry I ever dealt with them. The more we stick together the more accountable they will have to be.
