The comedy show was in the back of a restaurant. And the tables were spaced pretty roomy. No one was squished on top of each other like in Comedy Cellar. And the restrooms downstairs were fairly clean. BUTTTT the show we saw on Saturday night was kind of not funny. There were a lot of awkward comedians. Maybe they're new? But paying $25 + 2 item minimum for new comedians and lame jokes wasn't that fun. But you can tell they were trying. So a plus on effort. The non-alcoholic drinks were pretty gross too. I'm giving 3 stars because of the comedian effort but I don't think it's worth going back.

The first thing you notice this comedy club gets right is the ambiance—dark, personal, and slick. This is probably the most intimate comedy club I've come across, which, after spending some time in the Comedy Cellar, is saying a lot. I did encounter a rare phenomenon—people seemingly too intimated by the small space to laugh, despite the presence of quality performers. Clearly a victim of it's own ambitions but for those of us able to check our pretentiousness at the door—not a problem. The energy took a bit longer to crescendo but it eventually reached an enjoyable peak.

The acts on the night did not disappoint. The comics had original, funny, and provoking material that you come to expect from any quality club in Manhattan. They clearly care about putting on a quality show. By the time I walked out of the door, my soul had been energized. This is why NYC is one of the best places to be a stand-up fan.

You can't go wrong by adding this club to your rotation.

Great location! It is newly renovated and has a beautiful bar area out front to wait on the show. The comedy space is nice and intimate. We had a great line up for the 10pm show. They had 6 comedians and all were funny. There are 8pm, 10pm and midnight shows on Friday and we were able to get last minute tickets.

The drinks were excellent. Bartender and staff were all so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot!

The espresso martini is phenomenal. One of the best I’ve ever had. They put cinnamon on top. So good!
Also the food looks terrific!
The general manager is very friendly and welcoming. They have a comedy show in the back. It’s a great intimate room where you get to be close to the performers and feel like you are part of the show. Must come
