Hired 09.24.22 to repair fence. Repaired, but charged me an extra 150% from quote.
Fence gate failed after 1 month. Contacted, said he'd come, didn't. Finally came and repaired 1.5 months later.
Fence panel and gate fell down in 03.15.23. Contacted, said he'd come the next week. Didn't come or send a note explaining. Contacted again. He said he was too busy and that he'd come 04.15.23 but that he'd charge me if I took the panels down deliberately (?????). It's 04.17.23 and I still have a broken fence and no contact.
Based on poor quality work, multiple delays - without notification - on repairs and poor communication, I'd recommend against this contractor. I have tried so many times, but fences should stay up more than a month or 6 months.
My brother and I (non-professionals) put up the last one in 2003, and it lasted 19 years.
Don't hire if you want quality work.

We used Freedom Plus to re-do our primary bathroom - new subfloor, new tiles, and new vanity. They also did some drywall repair. The entire team was very professional and did a great job for a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again for any future general contracting needs!

I kept hiring Freedom Plus Contractors for the last so many years. They have remodeled my kitchen, beautified my shower with marble & sliding glass, did my hardwood floor, changed my half bathroom into a full bathroom & painted my townhouse fabulously.
This year (2021), they have demolished my old shade & built me a picture beauty shade; paved my patio with stones. It looks, rather, like a work of art.
The owner, Melvin, is a highly skilled & gifted handyman in so many areas of construction.
I highly recommend the Freedom Plus Contractors & plan to hire them again and again.

They did a great job painting the entire condo and kitchen cabinets. Everything looks great because they used quality materials and no cheap shortcuts.
They have great simple ideas for cost savings and did not up-charge for unnecessary work. Additionally they did a few minor things here and there free of cost.
Invoicing and contract was via email and walkthroughs before and after were great to ensure everything was done as agreed upon.

Melvin is a great professional that takes pride in the work he and his team at Freedom Plus Contractors do. I have hired Melvin and his team on several occasions for interior (kitchen and bathroom remodeling, painting, floor installation, etc) and exterior work (painting, window repair).
I have always been happy with the outcome, plan to work with Melvin and his team the in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor with a range of skills and capabilities.

Melvin came and helped install an oven hood and fan which turned out to be more complicated than we thought since the original hood was hard-wired and didn’t have an electrical outlet. But Melvin knew how to resolve the issue by installing an electrical outlet for the unit to plug into. He is very knowledgeable in all things “fix or repair” and was very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely use Melvin again for whatever future jobs come up. Highly recommend!
