This is now just a big building site. The supermarket has gone along with everything else.
In the past this shopping mall is very good place to visit but now only left out countdown and a few shops and a bank. Looking forward to seeing the shopping mall after reconstruction.

Would of been a great shopping centre back in the days, so sad to see good places like this being removed for more dence housing. I try to support the old Countdown as much as possible.
The shopping center has been brought by Foodstuffs. The shops have been demolished. Only the Countdown remains.
It will eventually go. A Pak n Save will be built.
The ASB and Westpac banks in separate unit will remain as well as the TAB and Kitchenette cafe.

I was able to find parking. The Asb bank was not to bizzy and the same as the lower Countdown. People were happy with a smile. Thank you after I had a bit of a unusual day at home.
I love this little shopping centre, it's a shame that it's no longer a shhopping centre, only just the little Countdown still running. In it's glory days this place had the best Korean restaurant (Sura BBQ under Sonia) and the best Italian restaurant (La Padella) this side of Auckland (they are now on Moore St, Howick). And all the other cute lil shops.
