Was recommended this restaurant by the Holiday Inn opposite. It was late on a Monday night and the restaurant was empty (as you would probably expect). We were expecting the food to be bland and asked for some extra hot sauce. We didn't need it as the food was cooked the way it should be - not too hot and very flavourful. This is probably the best Thai meal I have had outside of Thailand (and I have visited several Thai restaurants). If there is any improvements then I would the restaurant not to serve everything together and serve in stages - e.g. starters, mid, mains, etc, but perhaps it was late and that may be why the food came out together. Overall. a great recommendation from the hotel and a fantastic meal.

Just recently came back from Thailand and really missed the food. Loved every bit of it, the vegetable spring roll was gorgeous and the red curry with tofu was amazing. Can't wait to go back and try other bits

Definitely won’t visit again!!! Not professional at all!!!
First we waited for more than 1 hour cooking without any compensation (they said they face inspection)
Second, the fish price is £16.95 on the menu, but they charged us without asking and noticing for size XL price 19.95
We are two people dine in this time, actually that’s too much for us
Third, the menu said it charge service fee for 4 or more people, but they still charge for two people

Horrible experience, wasted me more than 2 hours
Fantastic place for authentic Thai cuisine! The dishes I had were delicious, the staff were helpful and the restaurant itself is clean. I look forward to visiting again soon!

I normally opt for traditional green and red curries, which you can never go wrong with. However, I recently tried Tom Yum noodle soup and it was simply amazing. Sufficient quantity in a large bowl along with rice noodles and stir fried vegetables. The soup is so delicious you will want to finish it to the very last drop. However, if you are a vegetarian, just as a matter of precaution for you, I want to add that the soup has a whole boiled egg. Just to give you a heads-up. You can either ask not to put it in or could take it out whole before eating. The best thing is value for money. You won't feel how much you get to eat in the price given.

I recently visited Siam Zaa in Newcastle and had an amazing experience! The restaurant is conveniently located near the train station and right in the heart of the city, making it an ideal spot for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner. The Thai food here is exceptional - the Tom Yam soup is spicy and flavorful just like in Thailand, and the noodles are simply amazing. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Siam Zaa to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in Newcastle. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!
