We were planning to go to another restaurant, but we ended up having some pizza and getting here. It was our first Italian restaurant in this area called 'Little Italy', so we had pretty high expectations for Italian dishes.

My first impression of 'Amalfi' was that it was too salty after one bite, but it was only about the first bite. The taste was balanced, and I liked the combination of ingredients. We also ordered 'Rigatoni alla Norma'. I had only made this dish by myself at home and was curious about one made in a restaurant. I believe people can still create wow moments with simple ingredients, especially when it comes to Italian food, but it was just good.

Our server was so friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I think it would be even nicer, especially in the evening.

Located on the Drive this beautiful restaurant was a great place for hanging out. We had girls night and our server was super attentive and amazing. He never made us feel rushed to leave even when we finished and kept chatting.

For the food, the beef carpaccio was delicious and focaccia bread was wonderful. I was more amazed with all the pastas we ordered. My friend was able to get the braised beef brisket with a different pasta. I ordered the mushroom truffle pasta and it was really deep in flavour and the pasta was just the right al dente.

The highlight was the tiramisu! We will definitely come back.

I visited Sopra Sotto for dinner recently and had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and all the food was delicious!

The house made pasta I had was amazing.

I plan to return and try their pizza!

Came here for the first time with my fiance about a year ago & were DREAMING of their calzone so we came again recently & it didn’t disappoint. When coming the first time, we tried the truffle mushroom pasta & the bolognese, as well as their calzone.

First of all, both times when we went it was just before 5 so the restaurant wasn’t too busy and after ordering, our food came out so fast! They make their pasta in house & the truffle pasta was wonderfully chewy and creamy & made for a perfect dish for a mushroom lover! My fiancé also enjoyed his bolognese, both pastas were hot and flavorful. We ordered it again the second time we went!

The star of the show is their calzone!! The calzone has fresh ricotta and pepperoni inside & it truly speaks to how simple fresh ingredients are sometimes all you need. It comes with arugula and cherry tomatoes on the side and when you eat it all together, it is the perfect combination. For anyone coming here, I highly recommend sharing (or not) the calzone! I cannot wait to come back & try more items on the menu.

Enjoyed dinner here tonight. We got a salad to share and a vegetarian pizza to share. It was just the right amount although I could have easily eaten a whole pizza myself! The pizza is thin crust but I found the crust a bit too soggy for my taste. I noticed my friend rolled up her pizza slices to eat them. The servers were friendly and checked in on us often. They were kind enough to let us remain sitting and talking after we finished eating. Parking can be a problem. Had trouble finding paid steeet parking even but there is a paid parking lot nearby. Yikes! Didn’t get a pic of the veggie pizza 😬

Nice Italian pizzeria at the heart of little Italy.
People were very nice and service was good.
The fresh baked pizza smelled and tasted good.
Pasta portions were a bit small but still okay.
The food is a bit pricey but still not that bad.
Cocktails though are way overpriced and basically not worth it

Very stylish Italian restaurant.
Every day I go to a new place to have a cup of coffee, today I was here) my choice was pizza margarita, latte and tiramisu. The pizza had a crispy crust and very juicy toppings. The coffee is strong and refreshing. Thank you to the staff who were on top of things and made my lunch wonderful. I felt like a needed guest here.

This was the first time I went to an Italian pizzeria. It has a beautiful interior and because it was a holiday, it was almost crowded.

I ate pizza and white wine and my friends ate pasta, but I didn't like the taste of their pasta. Maybe it is because I had never eaten Italian pasta before and the taste was a little strange to me. The service and preparation of our order was also very good
