Mythos Greek Souvlakis

Used to be my favourite place to get a Greek souvlaki.
But then I saw it being sold to a new owner, so I assumed the taste would change.
Thought I’ll give it a benefit of doubt today and try it but nothing surprising.
The original taste is gone, chicken had no flavour, too hard, less in quantity but still the prices have gone up haha.

Gone downhill a bit, so just check orders when they're made. Put hot sauce in a souvlaki when it was meant for kids. Then made another souvlaki with so much lettuce, and forgot the tzatziki and tomato, then had language barrier confused when i rang to complain. But they remade one as a correction so ok

Went out of my way to get an authentic Greek style souvlaki. Very happy with my choice to eat here.

Got a really average souvlaki here. Recalled in the past getting more than just lettuce and meat. Meat was dry and the rest lacked flavour. Disappointing, used to come here with workmates when we had an office on Colombo street and we all loved it.

I was lied to by staff, and received the average food. God I wished I had read the reviews before going in, especially Riahannas. Please read this before going in........
Please be aware, when i went to Mythos today, i had no Idea new owners had takin over....
First I called, asked for a kids chicken, no tomato salsa (on the menu) extra pita bread and a chik and lamb souvlaki tripple. After repeatedly correcting the order and getting frustrated i hung up and decided to order in the shop. I then enter to find the menu has changed (no tripple size anymore) I then ask if there are new owners, as the menu is different.... I am told No (lol) i then repeat the order in frustration. They take my order, apologise and are polite. I drive home and then find the kids souvlaki has salsa on it, and there is no extra pita bread. Both items are dry, tasteless and not even 10% close to the original. Good luck

As a very regular customer of Mythos during the time that the original owners had the business, I am very frustrated when I read comments saying that the current owners weren’t given the original recipes and enough training. I know for a fact that all recipes were given plus 2 full weeks of training in order for the current owners to carry on the fantastic traditional taste. That the new owners have chosen to go in a new direction is not a reflection on the wonderful people that established Mythos and kept it successful for 15 years

If I could give 0 stars I would. And judging by your past replies to feedback I assume this one will be met with a negative response too. However…. The lamb souvlaki was quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. The meat was grissly and unseasoned, the bread was soggy, the sauces flavour was non existent, the entire thing fell apart when I pulled it out of the bag. $19 for something I had 2 bites of and threw the rest in the bin. What the hell happened to this place!!! I’m so disappointed!
