Taste of India became our go-to restaurant for many lunches and dinners while staying a couple of blocks away at the Royal Tulip Muscat. Firoz and the other service staff were always friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed their prawn pakoras, chicken tandoori, chicken tikka sizzler, aloo gobhi masala, murgbanjora kabab, aloo parantha, kulfi falooda and Singapore fried rice. Their menu is so extensive that we never ran out of options and we repeated favourite dishes. Our dishes seemed made for us and our level of preferred spiciness. The restaurant was a lovely break from the Muscat heat, as we downed many fresh lime with soda and mango lassi drinks.

We had chicken lasooni tikka, mutton bhuna gosht, butter roti n chicken masala all food items were excellent in taste, perfect on spice level and served hot.
Also paneer kathi roll was a good choice by my kiddo. We would definitely like visit more often.

Superb food . Purely North Indian cuisine. The biggest advantage I found is, they will customize the spiciness of the dish according to your requirements. Like when we ordered they asked if we wanted less spicy for the kids. Both quality and quantity were standard. Staff were also very friendly and cooperative. The atmosphere is also cool and ambient. The area was very less crowded providing a relaxing and calm environment. We enjoyed each and every bit right from soup to sweets.

Some food is good some is average not bad and not good I tried so many things to try I tried soup chicken kabab chicken 65 chicken tandoori chicken sizzling chicken briyani chicken gravy sweet gulab jabun

Indeed, I must say, they are doing justice to the name. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Went for dinner couple of days back and had Lassi, Methi Paratha and gulab Jamun in dessert. All the items were served freshly prepared and were tasty. Priced reasonable and the service standards were at par. Must visit place if you are in Muscat craving for Indian food.

It was good experience but it’s not the best.
